Its just that on a daily basis thread are started on the same topic, which clutters up the boards. If all the discussion could be kept in one thread it clears up the boards.

A sub board is not really a requirement for this subject, if it was where do you stop? a sub board for buying, selling, renting, BT, crashing, rising markets etc...

there is no censorship going on here, just a matter of keep the boards running smoothly.

I would have preferred a 'House Price Discussion' thread rather than a 'HPC' thread (there's whole website for that somewhere) but at least all viewpoints only need to be exressed one more time Could we add a poll asking what users think prices will be in 2010?

Oil prices hit an all time high today, & very close to Inflation adjusted price of the early 80's !!! ...Combine that with far tighter credit terms, a slowing economy in the U.S & the U.k Economy set to slow significantly next year !!!...There is only one conclusion to come to regarding property prices !!!..

I definitely wouldn't regard any of them as cool...And kids !!!?? They're older than a conker tree guy!!
