2018 Frugal Living Challenge

Afternoon all.

It's been a fairly quiet day here today. The only place I had to go was the supermarket. I haven't done a proper food shop since 18th December (only a couple of top ups of milk and bread) and today I managed to only spend £20.10 and this should last now until Thursday.

Really looking forward to the proper start of the challenge tomorrow.

So, New Years Eve! We are still away from home so I haven’t sorted out a detailed budget but I am going to aim for us to live on my salary alone. I start work in January as a ward clerk and will have a gross pay of. £15405. Net, that is £13750 so I want our household to be able to live on that. I’ll tidy up some of the details when we are home!

Hi everyone

I would like to join this challenge again. I did last year but if was a very strange year where everything got away with me.

I have been working on my annual figures today which now need completely paring down.

Have been doing my end of year accounts today and nearly there - should complete them tomorrow

Hope to be able to shave a little here and there for next year but have been running fairly tightly anyway so will have to see.

Hi everyone
Happy New Year to everybody.
My visitors leave tomorrow but as they are out until the morning I have taken the opportunity to sort the fridge and veggies out, so quite a bit in the freezer now ready for frugalling!!
Just been looking at my figures and happy with them so I will stick with it. I will update my signature later.
