Bought mine through Eventim and I got an email saying ticket price plus fees and postage will be refunded within 7 days. It also states that it is not necessary to send the tickets back to them.0

Be aware that it is ILLEGAL for a venue or ticket seller to offer a premium rate 084, 087 or 09 number for after-sales enquiries and issues.
Anyone that does this must refund the call charges back to the caller. This has been part of EU and UK consumer law since 13 June 2014.0 -

But no you wont get phone calls refunded
Callers are paying up to 62p minute just so the called party can earn about 5p per minute from revenue share.
This rip-off was featured on BBC Radio 4 "You and Yours" as well as in the Sunday Mirror.0 -

X. Before calling, carefully check the official website and any correspondence that came with the tickets looking for an inclusive or geographic rate 01, 02 or 03 number or a free-to-caller 080 number.
If you have to call the venue or ticket seller on a premium rate 084 or 087 number, the call charges MUST be refunded. Usage of these numbers for after-sales enquiries and issues has been ILLEGAL since 13 June 2014.

You obviously failed to read that the person was BOOKING tickets so 084 numbers are LEGAL in this situation.0 -

Several other venues do have a compliant 01, 02, 03 or 080 number but it is buried on one page of their website while their premium rate 084 or 087 number is splashed across every single page of their website.
Consumer protection regulations in place since 13 June 2014 have made it illegal to offer such numbers for after-sales enquiries and issues and the regulations also give callers the right to a refund of the illegal call charges.
The MSE article is mainly about "how to get a refund". This is clearly an after-sales issue but the article has failed to cover this point.0 -

Assuming the delays were their end and not yours and you had no choice but to go the phone route, I'd write a complaint in with a copy of your statement. I don't think that's acceptable.0 -

Given that refunds are being given automatically, there's no need to cover it.
Do you have any other interests, aside from premium rate phone numbers? Genuine question!0 -

You appear to have failed to notice that a number of the venues and ticket sellers offer only illegal premium rate 084 or 087 numbers for after-sales enquiries and issues.
