I saw on an advert that Sky cinema is £10 a month for Christmas.......but when I looked at My Account it says only if I have it for 18 months!! That would be £180.......They do usually do a deal at xmas but for 18 months....sheesh....

On mine it says £10 for 18months - for new & existing Sky customers - not really anything extra for existing customers is it!0

I've left Sky, but had the Cinema package, for the first time, as the discount was so high.
I watched a number of the films in 3D as it was a novelty, but I can honestly say that I watched far fewer films to the end than were rejected, when I realised I'd seen them before on free tv, found the sound or lighting level made them unwatchable, the plot was boring or over complicated or there was just along script of meaningless foul language.0 -

I'm sorry Tedysmum, I must be a bit thick but what are you talking about? This post doesn't make any sense to me?0 -

She's saying that she didn't think it was good value for money at whatever discounted price she was paying.just a long script of meaningless foul language
I'll take a wild guess at Deadpool for this one, my wife wasn't impressed either.0 -
Phone up (or if you're patient enough go on live chat) & ask if its possible to have it at £10 a month with no minimum term. I called up & said I would like it but don't want a new contract & they said I could have it for £10pm with no new contract & that I could cancel it by giving the normal 31 days.Dwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -

Not so much that, but I'd already seen most of the really good ones (good according to my taste, anyway), so found very few left that kept my attention to the end. Some 3D ones were good, but possibly wouldn't have been as popular in 2D.
The one I really remember (and nearly didn't watch) was the boxed set film of Swan Lake with dishy 'Caleb' from Casualty; very unusual.0 -
Tried to jump on the £10 deal but refused to include it in the discount I had and it required a new 18 month contract. So I gave my 31 days notice ad went to Argos the next day to get a Now TV box which gives me the movies I wanted without the need for 260 other channels that I don't watch and can cancel at any time by not buying a pass. No brainer really if most of what you watch is already on Freeview...0
