Can hopefully get £5 off for price match at Richer Sounds too making it just under £40!

"WE’LL BEAT ANY COMPETITOR’S PRICE TILL IT HURTS...
AND GIVE YOU UP TO £100

If you ’phone around and the product you’re interested in is brand new and does exist at any competitor’s store, call us last and we’ll cheerfully beat any lower price by up to £100 any time up to 7 days after purchase!

We are fed up with e-tailers advertising items not yet released in the UK, or bargains that exist only in their imagination. Having said that, we will still price beat against other web retailers as long as they provide a UK phone number that we can call to verify. If the product exists then we will price beat.

We will price beat against e-tailers' prices including P&P, where collections are not possible.

Excludes plasma and LCD TVs over 30" because ours are UK stock with a much more comprehensive 'at home' warranty and include free delivery to the store of your choice. Also excludes special orders and accessories."

Do you rekon this includes these?

Anyone any ideas what the clock function looks like - want a DAB alarm radio but some you cannot really see the LCD time display which is a pretty important feature for an "alarm clock" in middle of night. Any other good alternatives people have found? Does a DAB with alarm and CD player exist?

    Thanks for any help
  • I had one of these from Richer Sounds. It lasted 35 days before giving up the ghost. This was my second foray into Dab, the first being some Goodmans rubbish. I finally settled on the far more expensive Pure Bug which is superior in every respect.

I picked up a Pure Bug from Argos in their clearance for £75 and am very happy with it. No CD player but you can put an SD card in it with MP3 tracks on it and/or record radio onto it. Very happy with mine. If you have one make sure you do an update of the software though.

How on earth can Argos sell a £129.99 rrp Bug so cheap? What is their definition of clearance and how do I get to hear about it ?

When Argos bring out a new catalogue they sell of items which were in their old catalogue but are not in the new one. The Bug was one of them and I just happened to be in store and there was one on the shelf. Really you have to be in store to see what is on offer - though there is a special Argos Board at the top of the MSE Grabbit section which lists stuff people have found.

Now that sounds like Richer sounds. Advertising something 'In store only' and no stores having stock.

Seems a bargain until you find out that they're actually only a tenner more brand new at Richer Sounds.
