How much is your rent? How long have you been living there?
Can you really not afford it, or have you just budgeted badly? If it's the latter, could you borrow some money from a friend or relative to cover your rent, and then start being more frugal?0 -
There are christmas temping jobs at the moment.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

OK so speak to the LL and this time be honest.
There is little point speaking to the agent as you do not know yet if the LL has empowered them to make any decisions on his behalf. If he hasn't then the agent is simply an unnecessary and avoidable obstacle in the way of you reaching agreement with your LL asap.
22k is £1,519 per month 25k is £1,689, a difference of £170. yes that on the face of it is a lot of money, but then again it cannot be impossible to economise by that much for a short period if the LL refuses to allow you to leave.
Where were you going to move to anyway? How do you expect to cut back elsewhere?
But 20% tax, 12% in and possibly 9% student loan would be a difference of £120ish. I'm guessing you have a car or something as
£1519 in
I'm guessing half of these:
£700 rent
£100 council tax
£80 electric and gas
£30 Internet
£40 water rates
£20 mobile phone
I'm guessing would still leave you £500 odd, say £350 minus deductions:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one :beer::beer:0 -
If your rent is only £800pm and you're on a £22k salary, then where the hell are you spending all of your money?0

This was kinda my point when I suggested the income/expenditure form to assess what could be saved and where.
OP would be advised to sit down and look at his/her spending. Hopefully they will take the advice and can remain in their home.
OP the other problem is where are you going to go if you give up your tenancy?0 -

Food? Travel? Socialising? Council tax? Clothes? Heating??? Do you think he is squandering money here? OP get cheaper rent, that would be a start, and buy some popcorn as the housing Ponzi unravels0 -
