Point taken in my defence I was at work and I only had the first page then.
Still think the wording is unclear.
No idea how this is going to go! Any final tips for my evidence and hearing would be appreciated .0 -
Well you need to ensure you have a witness statement compiled - you should jhave one almost done by now
What is the deadline for you to send them in? Doesnt appear on the page you gave us.0 -
Do most defendants get statements from colleagues backing up their own statements?0
-
Many witnesses use other witness statements too, in order to back up their version of events. Best if the other witness is able to come to the hearing to confirm their WS, to give it more weight.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi they are claiming for £565 on top of the other costs for disbursement’s and fixed fee costs!!! Can I get charged for all this too???0
-
Out of a lol the advice I have received here this is the most useless0
-
They can try to claim anything they like. By now youve read newbies thread post 2 so will know that they cannot calim ANY costs, in practice, as theyre companies. Youre not liable for soliciitors fees etc in small claims, unless you behave like an idiot
Given you havent been here for 4 months its however difficult to really know what youve done since being asked some really simple questions that you still havent bothered to answer.
If the advice is so useless why do you bother posting?0 -
Sorry I was referring to Keith ps post only. It seemed to just critise my actions.
Others posts have been helpful but I still don’t know how this is going to pan out. If I knew I could be liable for over £1300 I would have settled this ages ago.
I have no experience with these types of things so I’m sorry if my answers were not very savy. I don’t know what you mean by being an idiot. I guess I will find out at the case.
One thing I have learned is don’t believe what you read on this website. This whole experience has been drawn out and painful.0 -
Also I have followed the advice on this thread to the best of my knowledge. I have had no correspondence other than sending my witness statement to the court in the last 4 months.0
