PE are playing on words ... "Debt Collection Bailiffs ???

This is simply DCBL who are debt collectors who add on fake figures.  Bailiff action only happens if you lost in court and failed to pay.  This why Parking Eye are commonly called Parking LIE

It still amazes us that PE stoop so low as to use DCBL.   The DCBL fakery gives PE a very bad name .......... all you can do now is be patient to see what PE do and then we can help you zap them
  • Ok thank you.

As I said before I have proof of purchase. They have sent me about 5 letters from different “debt collectors” all threatening court action.

Only the claimant can initiate court action , on their own or using a solicitor or legal service

Debt collectors are powerless , whether they send out 5 letters or 500 letters !

Debt collector letters should be filed in a folder , not read , certainly not worried about , treat them with contempt , not trust. Debt collectors feed off fears , stop feeding them !!!

Once PE pass their cases to debt collectors, they seem to have given up on collecting any money themselves. Debt collectors might manage to rattle enough cages to shake some monies out, then PE get some of the crumbs. We've not seen any case where a debt collector has passed a still unpaid case back for PE to instigate a court claim. However, PE do have 6 years to commence proceedings. So we never say 'never'.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just desperation to get money.   A threat is not action and if you have proof you paid, it would be simple to prove to a judge asking why you are being sued.
As said, just wait and remember, in these Covid times these parking companies are desperate for money so they turn to bully boy tactics.   There is only one person who can decide and that is the judge and NOT a stupid debt collector

Hang on this makes no sense.  Stop.  Think again.

P/Eye have said it's with BAILIFFS.  PinkEye are not stupid.  They mean it's already got a default judgment - a CCJ.

I know but PinkEye's legal team won't make that mistake unless they mean bailiffs, IMHO.     They would/should have called it 'DCB debt recovery' if that was all they meant.

The OP could reply and say:

Do you mean it is with bailiffs because you have obtained a default judgment, or do you mean it is with debt recovery (pre-action) given that I know nothing about any CCJ?  If there is a CCJ please show me proof and the date of judgment.
