Good evening everyone.
Savings for January is £660.00 - all going into regular savers.
Had 16 NSD this month - only bought petrol this month. So to enable me to pay this months credit card bill off in full, (as per usual) and save some money.
Hope everyone else is having a good month.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Good to know we are not alone. I gave the camembert to my son as he loves it, baked and slit on top, then as a dip for veggies. I have seriously considered a fondue to see some off but have now bought celery - to reduce the crackers and grapes that were routinely consumed without consideration for my waistline.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Well done everyone!
I'll update at the end of the month as otherwise I get in a numbers mess, and we'll have just settled a 2.5k tax bill then.Save 12 k in 2018 challenge member #79

I'll be very interested to see how you get on with this - and also why you've decided to select the particular cryptocurrency which you've purchased (Bitcoin, Ripple, Etherium, Litecoin etc).
I personally wouldn't touch cryptocurrencies, mainly due to the inherent volatility, but providing you're happy to potentially lose the entire £3K then that is completely your call. Good luck.
On a slightly different tangent, I'm also very interested to know if any other people here are using a Stocks & Shares ISA as the vehicle for their 2018 savings target - or whether most people are using simple old-fashioned savings accounts / Cash ISAs. I ask because I've been investing in shares for around 18 years and people always seem to be amazed when I tell them this - like I'm some kind of financial expert. It would be nice to see if there are others like myself who prefer to invest than save.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
