  • Yes it does....
    Why?
For the 100's if not 1000's of people who HAVE been scammed!?
Just because a few say they had no issues, doesn't mean its okay for "parcelcompare" to steal money now does it?
What a silly thing to say...Do you work for them?
There really is no excuse at all, they are con men, its setup like that on purpose..
I mean, these very few people who have had "no issues" how can you be sure?
The pre paid agreement is still there, maybe they just did not notice any extra money taken?
    Ridiculous.
You are sticking up for a crime, your part of the problem.

Why should people who have experienced no problems feel ashamed? That really is a very silly thing to say, and because a few people have experienced problems, neither does it mean that millions of others are deluded.

Oh and did you even read my message?
You chose to comment about Me saying people should be ashamed if you stick up for them?
    That says it all really....
I was robbed, deviously conned out of money...I wrote a fairly long message with detail about how it can happen and you choose to comment about Me saying people should be ashamed?
    I have no words...
Just plain stupid, your ignoring the actual issue and are more worried about people being told they should be ashamed...Jesus. Wow :T

Yes, Parcelcomapre / parcel2go / parcelhero are all operated by the same criminals.
I have been subject to a scam by these, specifically parcelcompare.

When I booked a parcel weighing 17kgs to be delivered, UPS delivered it no problem.
It was a few weeks after, I received an email from parcelcompare stating my parcel was actually 60kgs! not 17kgs .... Lol?!
Complete rubbish. we all know how heavy 60kgs is...you wouldn't be able to lift the damn thing up haha.

So, they told me they would take over 50 pounds (extra!) out of my bank account. ( total cost now was over 80 pounds now and the item was worth much less! )
I challenged this, I asked for their proof.
They couldn't no show me any proof because it was completely made up!
Shortly after a heated exchange, I had over 50 pounds taken out of my bank account without my authorization! HOW?!

Well, here is where they scam you..
When you purchase their service, they enter you into a "pre paid agreement" but they don't tell you this of course! They tell you nothing!

They actually have access to your bank.
They don't even need to show you proof in order to steal your money.

I eventually got my money back! although it took a lot of persistence ( do not give up ) stress and was just not a nice experience at all dealing with them as they have NO CONTACT DETAILS, FAKE ADDRESSES, FAKE NAMES, OLD COMPANY NAMES...Only way to speak is on a pop up chat windows on their site, which is just useless..they cannot help you and just cut and paste reply's...Absolute disgrace.

    I was very very angry.
I got the money back after Paypal deemed it fraudulent.

They should not be in business, they should be in jail.

Anyone who sticks up for them or their practice, is deluded, go ahead and send a parcel with them then? See what happens.
They are doing this on a daily basis, all you have to do is google "parcelcomapre reviews" and see the amount of similar scenarios.

Name and shame them! Before anyone else gets conned.
P.S - I cannot believe I have read on here people actually sticking up for them? You should be ashamed of your self's, honestly. People have been robbed and they continue to get away with it!

You do realise how silly comments like this make you look?

It's also pretty poor form to repost your original post.

I had an issue with a booking for Hermes via P2G earlier this year, fortunately, it worked out in the end, but i dont think the details of the transaction are made that clear. As a broker, they are liable for any issue in the transaction, not the delivery company, but they limit their liability substantially. its slightly immoral the way they operate, its almost set up in a way they means if you lose out, no one pays up

Their customer services are pretty poor, to get any sort of response I had to make a load of noise on social media

As said, it worked out in the end, but I wont use them again, you can get the same proces direct with the delivery cos

You think it is silly when you get conned out of money?
Take this as a warning not to use this company...
Why would you even bother to reply that?
You just care about what it looks like? I care about not getting swindled, that's the point of this.

You know what is poor form mate?
Commenting a reply telling me I look silly for asking if someone worked for parcelcompare :rotfl:
I mean, what is your point?
If you love parclcompare so much, why don't you send a few parcels with them? when the shoe is on the other foot you will not think it is silly at all lol eediot

I'm sure others can work out which one of us is an "eediot". :T

Jjb go and report them to the police if its that much of a problem.
  • I agree with you and would like to help spread the word of the failures of this industry. A similar thing happened to me at the end of October. I used DPD who used Parcel2Go. Eventually by middle of December Parcel2go admitted they had lost my parcel - a 20kg gramaphone motor that had been sent for a service - I am invited to put a claim in, but have to prove the value - even though they accepted a payment for increased insurance at the time I ordered. So far they have rejected my attempts to provide a valuation, saying a screenshot from amazon or ebay is what they want. The item is difficult to replace, let alone get a valuation. Reading reviews I wish I had sent it through the Royal Mail

    20kg for a gramophone motor?
  • Whats your question? The parcel contained a gramaphone motor and it weighed 20kg. :)
