Morning everyone - I used to fly (albeit only for about a month) and then I moved house and without the focus of the net I lapsed. However I am back and my home is my castle so today I have a list as long as my arm of things to clean - wish me luck - I will be flying all next week with you guys to keep up. Hope everyone has a great day

Morning everyone, Good luck with the move Lil_me.
I decided last night it would be a really great idea to dye my hair, well put a few highlights round the front. I didn't work and now i'm sitting with bright orange hairspeechless-smiley-040.gif so hat for me and trip to tesco's, not sure weather to try again with the highlights or just dye over it all with brown.
Got my outside light fixed that was already up and the new nicier one won't fit so gonna hold on to it, i'm sure it will come in useful at some stage.

Right gonna get kids ready for sunday school, have a cuppa and find a hatlaughing-smiley-014.gif

Vanilla-I have used that L'oreal kit that has an all over dye and then highlights that you put on yourself, has worked fine for me. Might be worth a try was only about £10 and you would be able to get rid of the orange first that way!

    Good luck lil_me!!!!

Hope you give those nasty neighbors a big finger gesture as you drive off! LOL!

Right, stuff printed out, time for a shower, changed, pack, make up hair etc, then run about the rest of the day like a headless chicken all day and try to remember how to get into Glasgow airport...

gunsandbanjos-can i ask what HAI stands for.

Sorry, HAI stands for Hospital Acquired Infection, she has had several including the lovely C Diff. Which kills more people than MRSA!!!!
Spent a month in hospital with her after her spinal surgery when she got that.

Quick question: Has anyones children had measles? DD2 has a funny looking rash today, is not chicken pox as she has had that and it doesn't look like that. It's bigger spots and in some part it's big blotchy patches. She's ok in herself has a cold and cough but is playing happily? Don't know whether to ring the doctors, nhs or what?

    Hiya Daisydoll

I know you've already been to the doctors but that sounds just the same as DD had on Thursday! I took her to see the nurse and then sent her off to school as the nurse said it was nothing to worry about. DD has also been bad with a cough and a cold for the last couple of weeks.

sexymouse - do you ask for feedback after you get a refusal? I'm looking for a new job at the moment (only as a TA though) and that's what I was advised to do to see if there was anything I was missing off my application form or covering letter. I also went through everything with the Deputy Head of the school I volunteer in and she helped me with my letter. Because i worked in industry before I hadn't realised how much I had to put in a covering letter! When I worked in accounts, it was just a case of putting please find attached my cv.

I know I'm probably just saying things you already know or have done but I just thought it might help.

On the plus side for me - I think - after half-term I've got to go and do an activity session with a group of children then write a report on it and dependant on the outcome of that is whether I get an interview or not!
