Wow Michelle - when you count the weeks out till you start your maternity leave it really is not very long at all, just as well when you have gits like that bloke to work with!

I have been a busy bee this morning. So far I have:-
Walked woof (was cold at 6.15am this morning)
    Breakfast, pack-lunch and dressed littles
    Dusted, hoovered, tidied Littles room
    S & S bathroom
    Hoovered through
    S & S Kitchen
Cleaned oven (finally got round to it)
    Shampoo'd rug and lounge carpet
Made a stew/chunky soup - what is the technical difference??

    Still need to:-

Take DD2 to preschool (feed her first)
    walk woof again
    Put dumplings in stew concoction
    Make jam tarts/lemon meringue tarts
Go to bank (outstanding since we moved 4 months ago:o )
Put stuff in BM for onion and chive rolls (yummy)
Check ebay - 4 items finish this evening

Hugs, smiles, grrrs and kicks to all that need them:D

Best feed little un and maybe me too!

Hello all! Just back from playgroup and eaten some lunch (1st time this week). DS is pooped from playing, has been kissing a little girl all morning and trying to run after his 'best friend' so hopefully we won't be too long walking, hes so idle sometimes! It was harvest festival there today so muggins here got roped into delivering baskets on the way home - but some very grateful people made it worthwhile.

left the house in an okay state this morning before we left and left WM on but its so cold and no wind today I've just put in on airers.

Read the thread while eating my lunch so can't remember much but
Michelle - hugs, hope charlie feels better - DS does that, stands against the patio windows shouting to the dogs, was whacking it yesterday with his sipping cup too.
Tori - hugs for the sleeping, can you grab a nap in the day when he goes down?

Wacky Wednesday - those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms

    Level One
    Vacuum the floor
    [STRIKE]Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! [/STRIKE}
    Level Two
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!
    Level Three
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extra Task List
    • [STRIKE]Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw[/STRIKE]
    • Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
    • Sort the childrens underwear.. what can you get rid of? What do they need replacing?
    • Midweek fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!
    • PLUS [STRIKE]Playgroup
    • WM on and deal with[/STRIKE]
    • Sainsburys
    Deep Clean Challenge
Sort the book shelves.. and toy boxes.. what can be flung? we are making room for those lovely new things Santa will be bringing soon if we are all being good boys and girls!!.. So get rid of all the things that are no longer required

Tesco online shopping buffs - Have done an online Tesco order to arrive tonight and just checked online and its more money than I thought but doesn't say why. I've paid with my switch card online so do I have to give the delivery driver more money? Will it say why its more money? Do I have to accept it as it must be different to what I ordered? Used a £10off voucher I had through post but what if its not been accepted or will the total be before that comes off???? Aaaahhh, can't see me ever online ordering again as its a right pain.

Right, thats it now, I have my lunch so am cracking on. Got some cookery books out from libary and am making a new 'receipe folder' for myself so will do some of that until DS wakes, then his room and then walk to sainsburys for some meat - that sounds like a plan!

Tracey - Re Tesco. they dont actually charge your card until they scan your shopping so you will not have to pay the delivery man anything. Also the price shown on your order confirmation does not register any BOGOFS. HTH

Have dropped DD2 at preschool, woof walked, milky coffee supped, end of Loose Women watched (love that programme) and ebay checked. Seem to have run out of steam now though.

Right off to make some jam tarts me thinks, and maybe some pixie biscuits.

Thanks for all the replies again about DS - Pigpen, thats not being a bad mother - especially with 8 to look after it's a good idea - maybe be best though if we took bottle up when we go and then just pop it into him at first cry - OH will be fretting if we put it in cot - DS is his first and he is a panicker!

Michelle -Im glad your LO feels better - going to take yours and Tracys advice and try and completely fill him up - going to try and get a weetabix down him before his bedtime bottle tonight and hopefully have given him a later tea if he will last.

Tracy I usually feel worse if I sleep in the day - and then when would I catch up with you lot on here? I only go on laptop when he sleeps as it gets him mad!!

As for flying - been at my mums since 11 sorting her broadband for her in her new house, got back had lunch (banana bread I had left cooking in BM) and now on here - really need to make a start soon whilst he sleeps - or have a rest myself? mmm?

I did the same with my first too Toria.. from him being about 6-7 months when he would hold his own bottle! I am so not a oanicker.. lol.. amuses me sometimes watching others with their first and I do sometimes wonder if I was ever that 'on the ball' with my first.. I'm so lapse now it is hard to remember!! I'm fairly sure I wasn't one of these OTT ones that are so afraid of their LO falling they molly-coddle then into pappiness.. Mine fall I say get up and make sure you've not made a hole in the ground! hubby laughs at me sometimes says if they came in with their leg hanging off I'd say never mind you've got another, go play lol.. I can't stand drama queening, only I'm allowed to do that!!

On another note.. next Friday hubby and I have been invited to the hard hat ball.. evening gown jobby.. oh the joys!! At least I'll get to wear my green dress again that I wore for sil's wedding night do!.. and they have food.. I like food!! and hopefully we will be able to escape about 10:30pm and go to a proper pub.. though I am keen to stay there, get ratted and be a complete @rse lol

  • Charlie's temp shot up again, so more calpol and he has only just gone down for his nap. Stuff flying for the minute, i'm grabbing some lunch.

I tried to get him to lay down earlier, and in that time i sorted some wash loads out, and got one of them on. I went to put yesterdays washload in the TD and found it still full of bedding from last Friday. So i switched that back on thinking oh - 10 minutes then i'll empty it, and that was the end of the peace.

I really can't be bothered now, but i will challenge myself to 15 minutes and see what i can achieve. Hopefully a bit more than i think.

    Michelle, x
