    Tracey

    Thanks
Hairspray!!!! No I haven't gone mad. Cheap value stuff from Tesco, none of that nice to hair stuff as doesn't have enough chemicals in it. Make sure you clean the drum aswell or it'll be on your next load too, aswell as finding the pen or you will have more blue things.

likklegibbon sorry just about to log off but seen a desperate Mum so popped in again. Off to bed in a mo, no more packing allowed here as need to tackle the boys room and it'll wake them so shhhhh!

Good luck for the interview Rach :) pen will probably chip off once it's cooled down. Thanks for the reminder about massages, need to phone our carers centre aswell to change address, will book a therapy session while I am on the phone for after the kids are back to school and the move is over, full massage for £7 I think it is :D

Night night everyone (good morning Denise :) )
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Good luck with the interview Rach.

Plasterer is going to be here soon, and he'll block my access to the kitchen, so I may do my study this morning as it really needs a good tidy and clean, and then do the kitchen once he's gone.

Vets for me first thing this morning, going to be fun trying to take 4 rats there all of which need to be in separate carriers

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    Deep Clean Challenge
Empty, clear and clean the inside of a cupboard. Sort the magazine/newspaper heap. the one big pile of 'hotspot' we merged last week.. give it a more thorough sort through.. you do not need bills going back the last 24 years or invalid insurance policies!!

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clean floors
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces - one side done
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards.. - one side done
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk! - one side done
    • Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
    Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that junk/spare stuff/'quick.. hide it in there' cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out before placing the things you need to keep.. I bet 90% of that can go in the bin!!. If no junk cupboard do a foody one! Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!!

My list for the week (alternatively known as the stuff i've still not done)
Put cover back on sofa - decided to put it back in the wash !
Move drawers back into bay window in lounge - in lounge but in the wrong place

and clear stuff from understairs, storage room into the boxes.
Get smoke alarms put back up
Tidy tools and stuff from spareroom away
Clear paperwork on desk - getting there
Make a christmas card list .. do it on the pc so you don't lose it! Make a note of posting dates for friends/family overseas! - while doing it, check birthday's left for this year

  • just popping in to make sure i don't go in to work too early on my part time day as i normally do, although i need to be a bit early as i have loads of work to do. I am just trying to spend some time doing what i want.

yesterday was manic. I taught 4 lessons, had lots of people pestering me wanting me to do stuff from the second i walked in. Didn't get chance to think all day. Also noticed my wages were wrong, so i then checked last months pay slip and that was wrong too. Shows where my head was last month. So i am dealing with loads of management carp and not even being paid to do that.

stayed late for detention, none of the kids turned up, then the science technician confessed to me that he hadn't actually handed in the slip i asked him to, so it wasn't the kids fault but that wasted 2 hours.

then, picked charlie up, half hour drive home, copuple of hours playtime

then cooked dinner after his bedtime as DH was very late in for work - came in just in time to plate it up for me.

then did 2 hours of marking. It was then 10:20 and i wasn't starting planning lessons for today then. by the time we had washed up and both had baths it was 11:40, and then i kept hearing charlie whimpering in the night (teeth i think).

this morning then up at 6:30 as usual, and have managed to get a washload on, get DH to load my car up for the day, and charlie dressed. I had now best get dressed myself and get ready to head in as i still have quite a bit to do before i can start teaching at 11:15. i look forward to the day when i can rock up at 11 and spend the morning peacefully with my boy.

No wonder we all get so grumpy at times when life is so busy.

Hugs all round, i did read all the thread for stress relief this morning. Can see not a lot has changed really as we are all still snowed under.

Morning lovely ladies (and fellas if there are any?).

Hope everyone managed to get some sleep last night. Sounds like I missed the party as I was tucked up by 10pm last night, and feeling a lot better for it this morning. Fingers crossed that headache will not return as it was still lurking last night. It's dull and rainy here this morning, despite the weather forecast showing no clouds over Sussex this morning, so will have to shift all of the stuff on the airer and clear some room for the new washing as I'm conscious that I've been lazy and used the TD a lot recently.

My big tasks for today are to get this job application done, as the closing date is tomorrow. Congratulations on your interview Rach.

Right, off to find breakfast, wash my hair and then find my list and application form.

    Catch up later.

Morning all. Just checking emails and then I'm off back to bed - I knew it wasn't worth going there straight away as the binmen are here doing the alleyway and they always park right outside our house  I'm exhausted. Having strange dreams which I can't remember when I wake up but I keep waking up during them wide awake then I drift off again, only to wake up about 30mins later  I'm putting it down to everything I have going on ATM with OH and I splitting up, and DDs reaction to it (obviously she doesn't want us to split up and now she's not looking forward to Christmas as OH said he's going to start looking for his own place after then - she's even said she doesn't want Christmas this year cause she doesn't want daddy to leave us:( ). All we can do though is talk about it.

Right, the binmen have gone so I'm off back to bed to see if I can make up some of the sleep I missed last night - I cannot function on 3 hours sleep

Will tackle the list only we're back.

Pigpen (i think it was you who worked it out) DD was just under the 2lb, less than a bag of sugar.

Hope everyone's well and will be back later to update.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
