    This is my statement..
Let it be known that on the 5th November this year I will pay off my sonycard in full.. claim a prize with my accrued points (new MP3 player!!) and chop the b!!!!!d card into a million pieces and burn them!!!!!!!
I will NOT keep it 'just in case' I will not use it to do my grocery shopping online and I will not have it linked to my paypal account, or any other account.
AND NEVER EVER EVER again shall I be tempted by the lure of large amounts of cashback to apply for, hold in my name or otherwise use a credit card

    Gosh that was liberating!!!

Ooh someone sneaked £80 into my paypal account.. that'll cover 2 weeks shopping!! MINE!

I've just checked my SOA.. and do you know what I discovered?????

We are living WELL within our means.. but I build debt as fast as I pay it off.. instead of using our disposable income for the necessities and making minimum payments I make MAXIMUM payments and then struggle to buy the things we need so rely on the catalogue and credit cards as buffers. Almost 2/3rds of our total income is 'unaccounted for' I think have a phobia of money in the bank..

I'm going to play on my debt diary I think and work this out for real... see what everyone else thinks!

    Morning :)

That smiley face is looking a lot brighter than I'm feeling! Was up till 11 last night trying to get business stuff up to date. That was after working, getting groceries, then going mowing with OH for a couple of hours. Didn't start eating dinner till well after 8pm.

    Quick list for today:

    Walk Arsha - DONE
Get laundry up to date and keep it that way Last weeks sheets and towels on line along with one load of whites
Update business financies - Get employee returns ready
    Work Here now
Get appointment with Year 10 Dean at school Left message but he hasn't returned my call
Investigate course for Family Budget advisor Have printed study details off internet, just have to visit the office
Pack the one thing that sold at auction
Get postage price for auction sale
    LO arrives at 3pm
    S & S kitchen
    Make sure vacuuming gets finished
    Visit with cousins new baby
Help niece plan a budget - will get her to find all her payments out today, and interest rates, length of term etc.

    I'm sure there's more . . . **sigh**

Morning Denise and goodnight to the rest of you. Just going to update my list - when I can locate it then off to bed.

Ebay ? Someone who has one a bid on one of my things now says that they don't want it as they bid on lots of similar items and won them all. They have over 500 stars so not a novice. It is only for £8.50 and had lots of watchers. They say they will buy if they must but I bet they will say it did not arrive etc - what do you experts think?

Vanilla you dd looks so tiny not sure what her weight was in old money(can't work out g and kg) but my dd1 was 3lb 2oz at birth(7 wks early) then went down to 2lb 9oz
even though dd was bigger it still brings back memories seeing pics of your dd on here.

Nicki please tell me these cakes aren't your own doing.. they are so neat and perfect mine taste good but look "homemade"

hoovered up dw on.Enough mince left over for lasagne tom(hoping leccy goes on in time as we have a planned powercut) lots more playing with previously mentioned rats
dog going to vets on wed couldn't order oil as permantly engaged(them not me)

Tia i wouldn't admit to my ex i couldn't find lever for lifting bonnet so i just sluiced down windscrean for a few weeks till my dad showed me where it was
    Lead us not into temptation...

just tell us where it is and we'll find it....
  • Dustykitten-re ebay: Did you mean that they are currently bidding or have won it? If they have won it they should pay but if you are worried that they will try it on and say it never arrived could you do a second chance offer to the next highest bidder? Or get them to do the mutual agreement thing(a pain I know) and re-list it? Some Bloomin ebayers think it's a catalogue sometimes!

Still not hoovered or put away ironing:o must get my but moved off this computer or I'll regret it!

Thanks Daisydoll - the auction has finished and they have won it - I have never done a 2nd chance offer - is it easy or would it be best to just relist?

  • Well thank god for that, the Ebay stuff is finally packed. Thats the only downside to ebay - it seems to take forever!!But I have done well this week so I cant complain, and next week is shaping up well too.
I'll look at tomorrows list in the morning - thinking about my kitchen is too depressing as I need to clean the cooker and fridge, and its 'take the mother-in-law shopping day' JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
