Hello, I'm going to do what I can this week as I'm back at work and this is getting-in time for me. Luckily, last weeks splendid (if I do say so myself) efforts mean there's little to do.
Also, I can't face 6 pages of posts to catch up on the thread. Sorry and all that.. hugs, hoorahs and yikes in various proportions to those who need them.
Off to do what ever it is I'm supposed to be doing this evening. Wondering if there's a switch about of rooms again!

    Hiya
Well, i'm shattered. I've vaccuumed within an inch of my life as we got the replacement hose for the cleaner. It makes a difference when there's not a great big gaping hole in it! I got several hundred dust monsters from various rooms. Downstairs is looking respectible now which is good as i'm working 930 in the morning so will have no time to tidy up before then.

I also had to change bedding today as darling cat was sick all over the bed. Bless her....not! I'm sure she does it on purpose as she doesn't usually sleep there.

I'll try and catch up with the thread later or I might just fall asleep as soon as the children are in bed.

    Hugs to all xx

Not at all.. I usually have just as much to catch up.. I did the kitchen today because my TD is in there and being repaired tomorrow and I didn't want the engineer to think I'm a complete slob!! The back room is tidied too because he has to walk through it to the kitchen!.. Otherwise it would have been left too!

Sorry pigpen, I didn't mean to offend, it was just a joke, but I didn't put the smiley in so it's my fault. :o I hope it all goes well with the engineer tomorrow.

    Peace offering ---> all_004.gif

OK, none make fun of me... but...

I don't know how to get my bonnet open on my car!

And it needs washer fluid before I can drive it again as I can not see out the windows!

Will see what flying I get done in the living room after my dinner, I'm starving!

Have you checked down by the side of the driver's seat or underneath the steering wheel? There should be a little lever with a pic of an open bonnet that should release it for you.

Sometimes there is a catch underneath the bonnet that you need to pull up.

Checked both drivers side and passengers sides. looked in all teh usual places, then checked the manual!

The manual says its a lever on the left hand side (so right hand side as its an American manual), but I swear there is nothing! I been down on my knees with a torch! Found the safety catch on the front though, but the shape of the bonnet, its needs to pop up before I can open it.

I so don't want to go back to the garage and say 'hey, I bought it a few months ago, but how do i get into the bonnet?' they will make fun of me! LOL!

After dinner I will give it another go.

Empty, clear and clean the inside of a cupboard. Sort the magazine/newspaper heap. the one big pile of 'hotspot' we merged last week.. give it a more thorough sort through.. you do not need bills going back the last 24 years or invalid insurance policies!!

Not done too bad today about to hoover when kids are settled and do some more ironing and sort out the numerous piles of clean washing piled on my bed! Posted all my ebay parcels today too and did a few loads of washing!:D Oh forgot to add I made a trip to the dump today as well to get rid of a couple of bags plus our old filing cabinet. Going to fill up the car with stuff for charity tonight ready to take tommorow!
