  • Thank you for the good wishes.

Yes the market trip was perfect. It wasn't too busy and we all shopped well together, no getting lost from each other.

    However.........

I have only just checked in for my flight!!!!

How could I forget? I had written a list for each day for the last week but I was obviously over-confident and hadn't looked at the list for today. What a plank?

So a cup of tea to calm myself and then I will check the list properly.

My leftover duck was not quite as delicious as yesterday, but was pretty good with extra vegetables.

Hopefully my blood pressure will return to normal very soon

  • I have had one of those mornings!

So I have done some more washing; contacted emergency plumber for details of shower; called them to arrange warranty visit; called tenant; called hospital to change appt, can't so; booked another flight; cancelled car hire; rebooked car hire; tidied house again; emptied fridge; made bed with fresh linen; been busy being busy!

Oh yes, still to pack - how daft am I?

I have about two and a half hours till I need to leave. Washing up needs doing. I have made sure my phone and tablet are charged up. Pack up packed up.

I still feel like I am missing something. Oh I know, a cup of tea!

Have a good flight, we'll 'see' you when you land :) (I will wave at any planes I see in case it's you).

P.S. That's a pretty amazing lot to achieve in any morning let alone when you have a plane to catch!
