Great catching up on your diary.
A friend is a driving instructor and they’re definitely very booked up so I’d advise booing ASAP.
Hope you’re enjoying the new house?AspirationApril 2020 - £102,222 Loans/CC’s.

Well her first lesson is booked for the end of April. The bloke who lives opposite had space. I saw his car with all the branding on it a few weeks back so looked him up and read reviews etc. Seems ok, so if the first lesson goes well we will book a block of them. He only had availability daytime's, but thats ok for her as she works all weekend and has a day and a half off college.
I was paid on Monday, set it aside for the mortgage payment should have about £500 spare which will go towards driving lessons and the downstairs shower room if the plumber ever gets back to me with his quote! Also need to chase the glazer about the internal window.
Council tax bill came in, is about £10 a month higher than I thought, is a lot of money! Downside to a much bigger house.
Patio furniture arrived. Going to try and get the table up at the weekend. Seems pretty sturdy, need to source a cover for it though. The chairs fold so can go in the garage area, but the table will have to stay out all winter. Even being glass and metal I think a cover will be best.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉4 -
Still busy as always! Its so nice to see that its all coming together for you though3

Ouch to the CT bill. Mine just went up £10 a month. Frustrating - but keeping people employed. Good luck with the driving lessons. Trying to get DD on waiting lists to learn. Hope you get some sun soon to go with the new furniture... Looking forward to using our new patio as it warms up outside...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

So on Wednesday after picking up the girl from work I managed to reverse into our own wheelie bin 🤦 smashed back light. Honestly!
Anyway the garage had one in stock but it was twice the price of ordering it online. Only trouble is the post is absolutely awful here atm (outbreak of covid at local sorting office) and I had stuck the remains on with parcel tape. I had money in the car maintenance pot so just decided to go ahead and get it sorted. I could have fitted it myself, but normally do those sort of things with my dad's assistant so got the garage to do it and they didn't charge any labour (it took about 10mins). I do like my garage. So now need to be extra careful when parking.
Anyway this weekend I will be doing more painting in the girls room, and I may start the utility room. Need to clean and also do some admin work for the role I have taken on with church.
I have also applied for a Santander credit card. It does cashback and seeing as I am averaging 2k spending each month on my current nationwide cc I might as well get money for doing so! Obviously it is paid off in full every month, I love how credit cards are dealt with in ynab. In fact I just love ynab full stop! Will find out if I qualify for one early next week.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5
