excitement must have worn the little cat out awww
My sister is amazed at how much painting I have managed 😂 the lounge and kitchen were easy, the girls room is not proving the same! I do need to organise someone to come and paint the stairwell and hang some wallpaper. I can do a straight wall, but hanging up the stairs needs better skills than I have.

Locksmith coming tomorrow to change front and back door locks. Have the money waiting so all good. Need to chase the plumber for his quote too.

im amazed, it took me months that to do all of my house and I still have to do the kitchen! I would absolutely put the stairs wallpapering out to someone else as well, no chance for me especially as im only short

Great catching up on your diary.
A friend is a driving instructor and they’re definitely very booked up so I’d advise booing ASAP.

Hope you’re enjoying the new house?

Well her first lesson is booked for the end of April. The bloke who lives opposite had space. I saw his car with all the branding on it a few weeks back so looked him up and read reviews etc. Seems ok, so if the first lesson goes well we will book a block of them. He only had availability daytime's, but thats ok for her as she works all weekend and has a day and a half off college.

I was paid on Monday, set it aside for the mortgage payment should have about £500 spare which will go towards driving lessons and the downstairs shower room if the plumber ever gets back to me with his quote! Also need to chase the glazer about the internal window.

Council tax bill came in, is about £10 a month higher than I thought, is a lot of money! Downside to a much bigger house.

Patio furniture arrived. Going to try and get the table up at the weekend. Seems pretty sturdy, need to source a cover for it though. The chairs fold so can go in the garage area, but the table will have to stay out all winter. Even being glass and metal I think a cover will be best.

Ouch to the CT bill. Mine just went up £10 a month. Frustrating - but keeping people employed. Good luck with the driving lessons. Trying to get DD on waiting lists to learn. Hope you get some sun soon to go with the new furniture... Looking forward to using our new patio as it warms up outside...
