Welcome Lucille, to this corner of madness :rotfl:
Porch was leaking last night again, but not as bad. Left buckets out and have a heater in there so hopefully it should dry out quickly again.
Looking forward to the weekend, we are all off to the west end on Sunday to see the play that goes wrong. Hoping the small two enjoy it.
The smallest wants to get out on his new bike tomorrow, he isn't good at failing things, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on. I think he thinks he will get on and ride straight away. :rotfl: I also need to fit in a walk in the afternoon, now I have booked the 25km walk in May, best start training  looking forward to it. Was hoping my sister would do it with me, but she has some ongoing health issues atm, so will be flying solo this time.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -
I remember my youngest going solo on her bike for the first time 5 minutes and she cracked it. I couldn't believe it when I heard her going 'I can do it' I think she got it so quick because she'd been riding a pony and the balance was there. Good luck with the bike and enjoy the show

Yea, not sure it will be quite the same here! Gave up with the wierd one, his balance isn't great and his gross motor skills and pretty poor too.
The smallest has fantastic motor skills so think the balance and peddling will be fine, his fine motor skills are quite behind so braking may be interesting!
Decided to go to my friends tonight, so off for a shower as I have been busy cleaning other people's houses all day!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -
Well the smallest didn't get dressed so no bike riding! But hubby is off next week so said he will take him out after school.
Went into town with the girl to get her photos printed for her photography gcse. Had to wait around so we went and looked at clothes (a teen girls favourite pass time) she bought a pair of jeans, I got her some more underwear and I bought two t shirts and a pair of trousers to walk in.
I should get paid on Monday from my new job, not sure on the amount, but need to pay for my course and a ticket the girls friend has bought for a concert in April.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -
OO happy new job pay day! Although by the sounds of it its all marked up ready to pay for stuff!
Hope you enjoyed yesterday and the rest of your weekend.1 -
So we went to london. Nice meal out with cashback. Smallest two were so well behaved. The theatre was small and we were back row so they could fidget without annoying anyone behind them.
The play was very good. Just enough slapstick for the wierd one enough funny dialogue for te adults. The wierd one adored it. I am now thinking of taking him to magic goes wrong which has extended to sep so hoping it may be kids week. The smallest liked it less. He is just too logical for it. It made no sense to him and for one worrying moment he thought one of the characters was actually dead  :rotfl:
It was payday yesterday in my new job, all doled out in ynab, paid for my course and when I get paid from my self employment I will start building up the ef and buffer again.
Getting the hang of the new job which is nice. Next week is month end though, so more things to learn! :jDebt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -

HI Drawing a line - so sorry - hadn't realised I had missed so much of your diary! Sorry to hear about the fracture - glad you are on the mend. Great news about the new job and using your new found skills too. Best of luck for your exam results when they come.
