The show was jesus christ superstar. It was fab, the boy was a bit lost in the first half, but liked the second half a lot more.

Late to bed though, and up early, which means today has been all the carbs, the diet is not going well at all.

One job this morning, then I came home, lunch and then took the kids out to a local heritage site. £25 for us to get in, but it's an annual thing so I will be going back for a proper tour with a guide, but the kids wouldn't have coped with that. Lots of running around and they seemed happy enough.

Half day tomorrow, then handyman coming around at some point. May make the big two watch another classic film. Going to sort some lego out too I think.

Anyway I honestly think I will off to bed soon, so so tired.

Didn't make it to bed until gone 11. Been having a bit of a low time atm, need to sort sleep and diet out I think.

Three jobs today, first one is not a favourite at all, but will come back and get the boy afterwards, then two much better ones. Should be home for 1.30.

End of the working week, and a week off. But probably the last one until Xmas which seems a bit depressing. Been doing a lot of thinking about my diet which has been shocking. I know it is down to me, and a lot of it comes down to being unprepared and my body seems to cope so much better having a big hot meal at midday and then a tiny eve meal. But because of work this isn't an option. But I may try to have a bit of a think and see if I can make it work a bit better. Maybe left overs on days I know I have time to heat and eat. Which is Mon, Tues, wed, then sandwich/salad on the two remaining time pressured days.

Anyway am going to in laws tomorrow or two nights, taking the little tent or me and the smallest to camp in the garden. Supposed to be nice so may be a beach trip on Sunday. Come back Monday, planning on doing a proper meal plan for two weeks and then organise a food delivery. Hopefully thst will help with the diet.

Three more shows next week, two with the girl on thu, one with the boy and the smallest on sat. A couple of day trips planned, car has mot on Tuesday, hopefully it passes, should do, after all the fixing it had!

Anyway off to bed, am shattered, another thing I will be addressing. Keep waking with awful headaches, think I am dehydrated and not enough sleep. Although if they carry on into September I may go to the doctors, have never really had an issue with headaches before, occasional bad one, but this has been ongoing throughout the summer on and off. Definitely a change in pattern. Will up fluids and attempt more sleep, better diet. If they continue will need a medical opinion.

Sorry you're feeling rough. I would book a blood test asap. Hope you have a more relaxing weekend - although it sounds full on to me. Is there any way you can carve out 'me' time.

I wish lol! Actually it's been a lovely relaxing weekend at the in laws. No head pains, glorious weather, no cooking or cleaning.

However the bloody car has thrown up a warning light so we didn't brave the beach, although in hindsight it would have been rammed and too hot. Spent £30 on a paddling pool which the small two have loved. Car will hopefully get us home (at least a 3hr drive) if not we have RAC cover. It going to the garage on Tuesday for the mot anyway, but after spending £700 I was hoping for a cheap pass.

Supposed to be hot Tuesday as well, so scaling back plans to walk the smalls into town for haircuts. They will probably need a quiet day anyway after this weekend.

Well made it home. And car warning light has disappeared again?! It obviously didn't fancy a run to the beach lol!

Tomorrow I am picking up daughters medication at 9, then will take car for the mot, walk home. Do some housework, force everyone to do some homework. If I get the car back in time te girl has requested a trip to ikea, and will plan the rest of the week.

Made a food plan for the next two weeks, delivery due on Thursday morning. Have shopping lists in the planner for top up and fresh bits that are needed. Trying a couple of new recipes, may be interesting!

Car passed the mot with no advisorys. Yey! Light hasn't come back on again, garage said the code showed something about fuel and air, which matched what I had read, said to pop it back in if the light comes back on. But otherwise all good.

Quiet day, just far too hot to try and do anything. Watched the Shawshank Redemption with the teens this afternoon, they both loved it and are now asking what other films we can watch lol!

Just has one quotes through for work I want doing. Omg at the cost of plasterboard and plastering te porch ceiling  trouble is it's a small job, but fiddly, and I trust this bloke so..... Also quoted for stripping out a hedge and putting a fence up and sorting out te front garden, which is a decent amount. I can do them both if I use the money I have saved for next years holiday. Its crap trying to balance saving for experiences against wanting to finally get the house done and dusted. Will have a think about it, may just book him in for next month. September through to xmas is going to be dull in this house, will do my best to get out and about, but it will be free things. No more show's and london trips for a while :rotfl:

Day off tomorrow and supposed to be cooler, so a day out will happen. Planning on going out for breakfast, nd maybe a train somewhere afterwards. Think I might do Oxford on Friday for the day.

Anyway off to chase the little two into bed.

Well we went out for breakfast to a little independent cafe, but annoyingly the chef (and Co owner) hadn't turned up so could only get drinks. The smallest was not impressed so we ended up in McDonald's :rotfl: anyway u wanted to go to Salisbury on the train, but the girl requested we go somewhere they could run around so ended up at a local nature reserve, had a lovely couple of hours and some nice cake. Came home and watched escape from new York with the teens, and made a new pasta recipe for tea. Not one to repeat but I need to try some new dishes.

Have told the kids we are going to Oxford on Friday, and have booked a favourite restaurant for lunch as a bit of a sweetener :rotfl: but really want a nice time out of the house.

Tomorrow me and the girl are of to London for two more shows. Mum is coming over to sit with the boys. Shouldn't be too late home as the second show is a shorter one.

Have emailed the handyman and said to go ahead with the jobs. Still debating on how to pay for them though. Need to find about 1k....... but I am so close to having this house finally finished (well, no house ever is, the bedrooms need repainting etc, but nothing else big needs doing) after a decade, and I just want to get it done. I also need to carve out some time to get some decluttering done.

Am ridiculously tired atm, the heat has been shocking here, hoping with this slightly cooler weather now I can catch up. Need to ensure I am getting into bed at a reasonable time though. I am almost looking forward to school and the return to routine

Glad your car got through the MOT okay. I know how you feel with the jobs on the house - I have a list of things I would like to do but they all add up. We did the boiler and garage door towards the end of last year so paused anything else for a bit while we pay that off! Definitely reduced my utility bills though so worth it.
