Whoops a daisy I thought I posted my amounts but I must not have pressed submit! So I had a look at the bank statements and since joining the challenge I’ve paid £91.58.
I was a little down hearted to discover it was just over 1% but slow and steady wins the race!

Hi. I am new to this but I would love to be added. I have been reading the forums for inspiration and I have struggled with debt for years. However in Feb 2017 I turned over a new leaf and have managed to clear the majority but need a final push. I am working towards being debt free by Xmas 2018. I would like to add my debt of £2494 please. Many thanks :)

Just paid off my first £200 but will be making more payments tomorrow when I get paid.
I’ve decided not to count the interest as think that will get confusing and so I’m just aiming to make payments totalling £10,000 during the next year and then I will look again at my debt and start again next year. Obviously I will look at my debt during this year too but I think if I add the interest back on it will demotivate me a little.
I’ve just applied to transfer my highest interest credit card to the 29 month 0% card I’ve got accepted to and then when I get the card I will transfer as much as I can from my other credit card and concentrate paying the ones with interest first and just make minimum payments on the 0% interest card.

Can I be a pain in the rear end and change mine to £3,000 instead of £2,000??

I've just been decluttering and clearing out my clothes etc and it seems that after losing some weight I need to replace some stuff lol.. Not a chance I'll be spending £500 to replace them, however I'd rather have a target that's more than my debt to give me that push to keep going.

I've just rounded up my bank account and paid a bit of my credit card so I'm starting off with £25/£3000

  • Hi all, I'd like to join in with this please to hold myself accountable.

My current debt stands at £1,165.

It was just over £2,000 in June so I'm happy with my progress, I should be under £1,000 in the next week or so.
