Hi there!
I'm a newbie, so I'm a bit confused by all the acronyms and the way this world works! BUT, I'd love to be involved.
I have £7156 worth of debt across 2 credit cards (£1663 and £3992), an overdraft (£500), and a kind friend who paid a credit card off for me that was charging interest (£1000)
Ideally, I'd love to pay off my debts and have some money saved for emergencies by the end of next year, to stop me from relying on my credit cards again.
So, my overall target is £8000.... EEEEEEK
Any help or advice at this stage would be SO appreciated!!! xx0 -
So the challenge is going to kick off soon. How are people planning on making extra cash to pay off debts?
Mine will be
- TCB
- Receipt Hog
- Overtime and extra hours at work when I can
- Ebay sales.
as well as doing a weekly/monthly/yearly budget.0 -
please explain what is TCB and receipt hog0

Taking care of business...
Receipt hog is where you upload your receipts and get points for doing this based on what you spend and how much. I started in the middle of November and are over half way to getting £3 cashback or vouchers. It is an app for you phone and is really useful.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]
