Morning all, yesterday was a no go in terms of the phone, I called the company and they said that the delivery date was 26th April! I told them that I had an email stating the 9th and had been waiting in all day, they are going to refund my delivery charge but in the mean time I'm still with a dodgy phone. Delivery date is when we go away so will have to ask my parents to sign for it.
Went shopping yesterday and used voucher so have transferred the £5 saving to the overdraft fund, now half way there and my expenses when they're paid will complete the total. Food shop was a larger one than usual but have lots of fresh fruit and veg to use for the week.
I need to pay some money into my business account and for the next sessions I'm going to ask parents to sign if they pay in cash, one of them thought they had given me £70 to cover them until May half term but she had given me £45 to cover until yesterday!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, H x0 -
Boo to the phone huggle what a pain. well done with saving £5 off your grocery shop.
Have a great day xx0 -
Yay we have progress today, met with friend yesterday to go through business accounts and she said I was keeping them accurately and well. She also explained about a few things I need to do, the main thing is though I can actually draw some money from the income so to start things going from this financial year I have paid myself for an hour of coaching. I have a break now over Easter but will continue to do this from now on and it will all go to the overdraft pot.
I was also paid my expenses today so I have managed to send over £55 to the overdraft savings which now stands at £105 :T and still 2 weeks left to top it up.
This weekend is another busy one with volunteering in the morning and then need to finish my website, on Sunday I'm volunteering at two events with the bonus being that I will get a free race entry from the company which is great.
Kids break up in an hours time, they have a lie in on Saturdays and then they will help out on Sunday.
Off to a competition soon, not looking forward to the drive as the road will be really busy with Easter traffic!

Wow weekends are so busy, absolutely shattered yesterday after helping out at event. DH and the kids also helped too so we were one tired family!
It's 10 days until pay day and I'm trying to eek out every spare penny and bits of food to get there, I may have to temporarily move some overdraft money tomorrow as loan payment is going out but I will get child benefit next Tuesday. I have requested some survey and cashback money of around £10 to go into the coffers.
Unfortunately DH friend who he was going to Scotland with has been a complete d**k about some posts on FB in which DH had asked him to take away some comments that just weren't appropriate for his friends and some family, so now said friend has thrown a major hissy fit and said their friendship is over and DH is not going up to the race but we still need to pay him the money for the flight tickets! DH has been friends with him since they were kids, but he always treat DH like he's thick and hates it when he challenges his views, knowledge or anything else. DH is not thick! Friend is currently living in secret with a young lady in a big city away from his long term partner and putting young lady friend ahead of anything else. Right before I say too much change subject, just disappointed for DH as it's a race that's been on his list for years.
Business website has been updated and I have started sharing it, need to find some more places to share over in the other town and in local schools after the Easter break.
Kids had a chill out day today but I will get them moving tomorrow

Can he still not go if he pays for the flights and book a cheap hotel??
Hi Abba, I did ask him but it's not only the flights, his friend was paying for a hire car as it's in a remote place plus 4 nights in an Air BnB, plus food etc. Also running the race on his own when it was meant to be a lads thing and then the 'girlfriend' was suddenly going too. I'm hoping that ex-friend manages to sell or cancel the flight in the next 2 weeks so we don't have to pay!
Took ds to see the children's nurse at the gp practice first thing this morning, she was great and we discussed his eczema and have some new creams and bath wash to try. DS is in the bath as we speak, as soon as she saw his eyes this morning she could tell it's really flared up. Prescription was free as we live in Wales so popped to the chemist to get them, then to Mr T for cat food and litter used a voucher so only cost a couple of pounds. We then popped to Iceland for milk as it's still the cheapest and finally to Lidl for loo roll. Back home before 0930Scanned 3 receipts for today.
I've attempted to be frugal today but my bread making skills were not brilliant today and we have a rather flat loaf, still tastes good though. I've done a huge mound of ironing and prepared all the dinner before I went out to a meeting and dh had cooked it ready for when I got back.
Surveys have been really slow today, hardly anything at all.
Loan payment has gone out today but I can't update figures until tomorrow as the screen doesn't tell me the true balance until then. I will update percentage paid which will be very small, like it when the car payment goes out as that's a big chunk.
9 days until payday, family want a BBQ on Friday so will check if we already have charcoal etc and then suggest we only stick to a couple of things.
Hope everyone ok, H x0 -
Hi Huggle, glad your DS got sorted at the Dr, we seemed to have had parallel lives today I have had DS to the Dr to, spent the morning ironing.
Agree surveys are really slow at the minute and i'm close to cash out on 2 and they seemed to have dried up which is typical.
I'm also counting down to payday but I don't get paid until the 30th:eek:.0
