Well I don't know what is wrong with me today, I'm generally optimistic and positive but today I feel down and frustrated at the mountain.
What makes it worse is that I'm in a better situation than a lot of people, I feel guilty for being down when I know it's our fault and we could improve it.
I try to have small goals, so aiming for £100 savings for the overdraft this month but it doesn't seem enough.
In good news dd passport is on it's way so another step closer to her trip being sorted.

Right let usual service continue, feeling better today a good sleep probably helped.
DD passport has arrived so I've completed all the paperwork details for her trip online, I will pay the final installment when I get paid on 25th.
£18 added to overdraft savings from bank account bonus it's now at £38. I haven't done any surveys yet today but will do a few before I need to pop out to my next meeting.
Hopefully back later H x0 -
Hi Huggle,
Every one has their low points, especially when finances are involved. So don't feel guilty about it. Glad that you are feeling a bit brighter today though xx
Yay to DD's passport arriving
Good idea with the OD savings, you'll have £100 in there before you know it xx0 -

Ooh it's gone so cold that I've had to put the heating on, my hands are freezing. At least we haven't got snow here but dh work had loads yesterday and he only works 20 mins away!
All finances are up to date, hated seeing the £150 going out for council tax today that's a big chunk but gas/elec payment has stayed the same.
Small purchases today but made with change in my purse, posted brother's birthday card, brought some milk and also brought some anti-histamines for ds as his exzema is really bad at the minute and his face so awful he looks ill with red patches across his eyes and mouth. Will try the tablets and his usual creams and if no better next week I'll take him back to the gp. He's had nearly a week off the hydrocortisone cream so can restart tomorrow.
Oops nearly forgot, email from Chief Exec yesterday we're getting a 2% pay rise from 1st April. Small wins yay!

Sounds like a productive day. Good news on the pay rise. Much better than nowt!0

Morning all, another busy weekend ahead and I've got an event on Sunday so I've been out to buy a few refreshments and need to put together some information leaflets for the people coming. Also volunteering tomorrow and Sunday before the event so getting all that ready.
I've managed to claim a small amount from survey site this morning which I've sent straight to the overdraft savings and rounded up, this is now at £45. I also claimed another voucher yesterday this brings that total up to £90 towards the first tent we need.
Kids have 1 more week at school then 2 weeks off, I'll work around this as I can work in the evenings when needed. I may rope them into helping with some decorating to keep them busy!
3 weeks until payday and then I can pay the last bit of dd trip and then when dh gets paid I will pay back his friend. I need another list because when they are paid I need to factor in spending money for dd trip, spending money and fuel for our break in July and also ds will need a whole new school uniform as moving up to high school. He's going to miss his last ever day at primary school and the disco as we will be going away the evening before.
Right need to hang up the washing, H x0 -
Evening all, not a lot happening except dinner cooking as really tired from waking up about 0400 then needing to be up at 0650 for volunteering but it was a good morning.
Nothing to report financially except usual things paid for including kids lunch payments, survey money has been transferred from PP to bank account but I have already paid this to savings.
DH has started the transfer of my business website to a new host which will take 48 hours to update, I can then sort out all the details of the new venue and start sharing with schools. I'm meeting my friend on Thursday to go through the accounts.

Well edging ever nearer to pay day again, haven't been able to add to overdraft savings but finances up to date on ynab. Annoyingly I've had to order a new phone as my current phone crashes regularly and yesterday when I was lost on a run I decided enough was enough. I've been waiting in all day for new phone but no sight of it yet, in the mean time I've been catching up on emails for work, done some surveys, done a menu and shopping list and will go shopping as soon as phone arrives.
My last session at Monday venue was a no go with only one turning up again but he is coming down to the new sessions in June, website is ready to update as soon as I get the password from dh! Last session at other venue this evening before a break for Easter holidays.
The kids are excited about the Easter break, I told them we're stripping the wallpaper in my bedroom :rotfl: I will try and get them out for walks and picnics as much as possible, not much room for days out unfortunately but we do go down to the in-laws for m-i-l surprise birthday party on 26th.
