After that we’re looking at saving £1000/month whilst over paying our mortgage by £200/month. We will then be moving again in ~ 4-5 years with hopefully £50,000 more to put towards our forever home.Mortgage free I: 8th December 2009!

#46 reporting an OP of £250 for November.
Wish I could have done more - and I might get another one out later in the month - but I have overpaid £11,165.16 ( total payments £24,230.11) this year against a target of £5,000.
Overall a good year. Paid off the car, @just over £17k and over £4,500 of credit card as well as funding the extension so overall im pretty proud of myself.
And I've done it all on my own :T I might give myself a rest in December unless I get a decent bonus and re-set in January. I really did want to get iut under £190k though...… now how to do that ? :rotfl:
Onwards and upwards (or downwards where the mortgage is concerned :rotfl:)
Have a great weekend!

I am late to the party but could I be allocated a number please? I have a a large interest only mortgage (£202,123) which has to be repaid in 58 months. I have just started a new job and will be pulling out ALL the stops to get this done. Aim to save 75% of my salary from January and live on DH salary. I'll be doing some other money making stuff. My goal for the rest of 2018 is £2,000.
I'm on this!!!0
