I'm glad most of you understand that I was just trying to make you all aware of a good deal!

I would like to point out that I did not notice the travel agent rules until after I made this post but I did add the signature as soon as I realised and would like to say that I don't believe I have broken any rules either.

See my profile, I work for First Choice Holidays & Flight Ltd, hence why the ATOL number is that of First Choice Holidays & Flight Ltd . I'm not going to use MyTravel's or Thomas Cook's am I when I work for FC?! Also, you will note I have provided an ABTA number.

With regards to PM messages, dmg24 can only speculate as he/she was not the recipient of the message so I not quite sure why he/she is getting so above his/her station over it.

I will be sure to keep you all posted on good non-agent affiliated deals when I come across them…within guidelines of course!

this is stupid

there are cheap flights going and they are a good deal, what's all the hassle, no harm has been done?

if you go over to the techy boards you will find people who work at sky telling people about deals they can get, they are not doing it because they gain from it because they don't, they do it to let people know that there is a good deal.

I don't care who tells me about a deal, as long as it's a good one but if the rules say that if you work for a company then you must not advertise their wares then that rule should be enforced across all the boards but there again, how does anyone know who is who and who works for who?

Who's touting a First Choice product? In fact, bar me stating the ATOL number below as per 'the rules', I don't see any other mention of First Choice within my posts?

Unfortunately for you [dmg24], the contract I signed with First Choice 3 years ago does not state anything with regards to generating business leads (which I am not doing for the record).

I would totally understand your standpoint if I had advised people to call me to book these Volarweb flights through me/First Choice however First Choice don't have the facility to book these flights.

Being a teacher you should know better then to make your own interpretation of rules.

Why you're taking the time to take it personaly and even going to talk to someone else employer?

Don't you have time to do something else?
