Whats with all the !!!!!iness here, regardless of whether the OP is a travel agent or not, they haven't reccomended their own company or the services of another travel agent or sent you via an affiliate link. They've posted a link to an Italian budget airline offering stupidly cheap flights, why can't people be grateful?

For anyone confused, click the link below and select the flight between Manchester and Milan and select the days you want to travel. All days included on the offer will have a 'TARIFFA PROMOZIONALE' of €0.01.

I've been through and it is possible to get flights for 2 cents plus the €5 admin charge.

    chut,

The fact that the link is not to another 'agent' is just the OP trying to get past the rules. The OP is still recommending a travel service other than their own, and that is against the rules.

Until he was found out, the OP neglected to mention that he was actually a travel agent. Again, against the rules.

Furthermore, as previously stated, the OP has PM'ed a user, no doubt offering his services.

There are travel agents, and other travel 'experts' ;), who offer a great service through this website. The rules are there to keep it this way.

Whether or not the OP has contacted other users by PM to advertise their services on a previous occasion is not for me to comment on, and I'm sure appropriate action will be taken by moderators if this was the case.

In this instance though I feel the user has a made a valid and worthwile contribution offering MSEs a good deal, I don't really see what importance being a travel agent has if they are not directly promoting their own service or making any money off this deal.

I must've been away when this place stopped being a community and started to become a bureaucracy.

Not us that make the rules. If you don't like them, then query them on the Site Feedback board, or don't post!

it may not be us who made the rules but is it up to us to make sure that they are inforced?

If someone has broken the rules, report them and move on, is it really worth all these posts going on about rule breaking? leave it to the mods

IMO the deal is a good one and thanks for sharing it, surely that 's what this site should be about?

Would certainly make me think twice the next time I see a deal if all I was going to get in return was abuse and accusations. Given the attitude of people on this thread I'd either keep it to myself take it to HUKD instead. :rolleyes2
