I came over to this thread to look for some recipes, and have been tiotally inspired :j Thanks D&DD :A I, too, have a pantry stuffed as if I'm feeding an army
My freezer was like that, too, but I've recently had a big clear out
I've read the whole thread (taken me a few days) so a couple of mentions:
Kethry - a pantry is for bread (from the French pain); a larder for meat (cf lard).
Jamie - your boy is cuuuute! Shove us a doughnut - will go well with my :coffee: Anyone else want a cup?
D&DD - I now have a french bread tin on my Christmas list. Trying to resist buying a doughnut maker
Someone asked for a ketchup recipe (sorry, can't remember who) Try this thread.
For other bread recipes, have you tried thriftlady's Adventures in Bread Dough thread (D&DD - see you have :T ).
I have an apple braid, granary loaf, and 8 brown rolls rising, 4 Christmas puddings steaming, and I'll be making some brownies, a coffee cake, lumberjack cake, and a batch of onion soup made with pheasant stock.
Have a good day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
