Morwenna I think you could use the kidney beans instead of chickpeas to make hummous. I don't like the taste of chickpeas so have used butter beans recently and it tasted better imho.

Was telling DS2 about the rainbow cakes yesterday and he's requested these for tonight when he gets home. They've eaten all the Marble cakes (read 4 big ones 8" tin) I made, last week whilst on half term.

But hey I'd rather them eat homebaked goodies than choc bars and biscuits.

This is all that remains of a dozen jammy cakes and 14 raspberry and white chocolate muffins LOL_Hair.gif

Oh well there's always this afternoon!!
DS3 has decided he's had enough and has gone off to [strike]pester[/strike] play with his brothers so I'm going to do some yoghurt cakes and carrot cakes now.
I'll try to find the link for the leek and bacon pud as I got it from here..and its rather lovely...and I have a lot of leeks still and some bacon in so I think I'll do some of these for the freezer too :D

D&DD how do you do this?

On other blogs etc you browse your own pc for the file but I can't seem to be able to do this on here.

    TIA
