Can someone give me some tips on rolls- do you make the dough in your bread makers? Can you freze them?

I do the same as I do for my bread - make it in the bm to dough programme, then take and shape onto my baking tray to rise, then cook in the oven. They will freeze just the same as any bread. I made some rolls last week. took one from the freezer this morning for my lunch, it was scrummy!

Very frustrated as I cant find the post that gave the link to the recipe (off MSE). It was something about soft white rolls. I've searched but it doesnt show up, obviously got the words wrong! If anyone sees it please let me know! The recipe looks quite complicated - you make a dough sponge, leave that to rise, then make the dough and mix the two with liquid. In fact its a very easy recipe :D I do have it, but would love to know who the poster was so I can thank them!
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning!

Right I am all set to make my first braid. I am making the dough in my Kitchenaid Mixer, so by hand no breadmaker, yet!

Do I need to let the dough rise before rolling out? The Kitchenaid is just mixing nothing else. I am thinking that the bread maker might be doing one rise beofore you get it out.

    Many thanks

Have managed to get a tefal 3 tier steamer off freecycle!!!!! :D Dh is picking it up for me today - I can't wait! Anyone else have one? Do you find it useful? Do you have any tips?

Not much OS today... going to get yoghurt going, making a roast dinner so will be making soup tonight/tomorrow for my lunches this week, still have some rainbow cakes (well... they have choc sprinkles as I ran out of rainbow ones!) though they will have gone by tonight... ok.. maybe I will make a cake for lunches tomorrow!

Hi guys Im after some meal suggestions please. I have in my cupboard a tin of kidney beans, a tin of chick peas and a tin of cannelini beans, all bought off the reduced counter this week, none of which Ive eaten before. I have little idea what to do with them but just wanted something different to cook with. Tomorrows dinner will be leftovers of roast beef from tonights dinner, so 'beefy' suggestions are most welcome. We eat most things but nothing spicy (DH and I dont like spicy food and it has to be suitable for a 3 year old and 1 year old).

Will have a proper read back as I keep trying and failing to keep up with this thread.
