woohooo!!! it now says ' Approved - Awaiting Signature'

the thing to print off isn't there yet tho LEA called and apologised, said they'd had terrible staffing problems etc etc etc but the money should hit my account by the 21st :eek:

Log on to the website and see if you can print it off - correspondance I think it is 'notification letter'. I have to click on GIF to see it. It then has a few pages saying how much you get and there should be a 2 page online declaration document at the back of the notification - thats what you need to send to the Glasgow address on it.

I did exactly that this morning, it wasn't there yesterday I also asked my university to do their part and they have so according to SLC money should be in my account within 3 working days after tomorrow

Well I got my grant through a couple of weeks back, but they still haven't given me my loan. :mad: Apparently they only sent off my NI a couple of weeks ago and are still waiting for confirmation.

I won't believe it until it's in my account, since nothing has gone smoothly with them so far but at least I know it should be within a couple of weeks at most now

I would check online on the correspondance page that there isn't a letter asking about your NI number - or call the slc to ask what is happening with it. It normally takes 10days to get a response from the DWP about your NI number. If it takes longer it usually suggests the DWP have said the NINO doesn't match the given details. If so there should be a letter asking you to send evidence of your national insurance number (such as a wageslip/p45/p60 etc).

No such letter, believe me I've checked. It probably is worth me phoning the DWP, so thanks for that. When I've phoned the SLC they just said that they're waiting for them to come back, one person seemed to suggest that a load had been lost and they had to send them out again.

hiya guys.. well the status has now changed to 'Approved'
uni have sent in the confirmation of attendance, I've signed and they've obviously received the declaration thingy so any idea how long now til I get me dosh?
