You won't be able to access Your Account after this date.

    Yes, my wife is. She started with them in 1993 and has had a PAYG ever since.

    Even though she only makes one call a year to keep it active, it still seems to work ok.

    I suspect there are so few customers that EE are "encouraging" them to move over to their probably more expensive tariffs

    The system Orange used to run on is being retired at the end of the year, so I'm guessing that they'll have to get everyone transferred to EE at some point. I image a lot of people with very old accounts (VOP for example) aren't going to be too happy....

    Me too, zero charges unless used, useful as emergency backup worldwide (but never used). I received no notice about this so the news is appreciated, I wonder if the end is nigh..?

    VOP=OVP presumably? ;)

    Are you surmising that they will be stopping OVP contracts?

    I really must read what I type before hitting post! Yes, OVP.

    I can't see how they can continue with the old legacy accounts. They can't be moved to EE.
    They've ended accounts before by giving 30 days notice, I would think all the old accounts will get a text saying their ending on a given date, with an option to switch to an EE payg or request a pac. . .

    Can't they just migrate them all to the T-Mobile/EE billing platform?
    This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
