ECP Windscreen PCN - Now DRP Letters

as they are not regulated /monitored they do what they like,. anyone can set themselves up to be an agency and send out letters claiming to be debt collectors which they wont stop. so to try and hit back with some correspondence could stop getting hammered with letters0

You seem to be arguing against experienced and knowledgable advice (swimming against the tide?), so maybe it’s best you cut away, do what it is you’re planning to do, then come back and tell us how it went.
If you’re successful, this could be groundbreaking. Good luck. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

you need to realise that this conversation has been had on here many thousands of times over the last 6 years or more with no resolution
I doubt that you can come up with a new angle , certainly not one that works and these debt letters will continue regardless for the 6 years period (or until the PPC decides to issue court claims - or until the 6 year statute is up)
they just want the money demanded on their paperwork and they do not get paid by the PPC unless they receive it - they dont care about anything you say or do in the meantime, they are more obstinate than you and just want to empty your wallet - period
the fact that you also have pcn and/or debt letter claims from MINSTER BAYWATCH over the Mecca bingo parking incidents means that over the next few years your letterbox will ping every day or every week with debt letter claims for each and every uncancelled parking ticket your vehicle has incurred, be it 2 or more from ECP or 2 or more from MINSTER BAYWATCH or any other private parking company you have fallen foul off (and there are dozens of them)

if you go to stockport peel centre or to ashton retail park you can pick up a few from EXCEL and then get BW LEGAL letters to go with your present DRP/ZENITH letters (DRP and ZENITH are the same company)
Being IPC members you wont have popla to appeal to, so the debt letter chain starts from the ticket becasue they rarely cancel on the initial appeal and the IAS is a waste of time - so these will go to debt collector letters within say 56 days regardless
nobody is selling the debt on , the debt collectors are acting as agents for the principal, in this case ECP, in your MB cases it would be on behalf of MB
the driver of your vehicle is obstinate and thinks he or she can just park on private land with no recriminations (and without following the rules of the parking contract) - this is not the case and has led to your current fight with both ECP and also with MB, never mind any other parking companies
this ongoing ECP saga below is yet another one of your growing pile of parking charge notice demands , which may well end up with DRP/ZENITH like this thread currently is
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5744067
one thing you can be sure of, the driver of your vehicle will keep on picking up private parking tickets until they alter their ways - of that you can be sure (and each one has a potential of 6 years of demands and hassle and debt collector letters - plus the possibility of a court case)
so 2 ECP cases and several MB cases on the go !!! (with a popla failure on one of the MB tickets and a cancellation on one of the many MB tickets so far)
all may end up with the debt collectors, and some like MB may end up with gladrags and a court case or cases0 -

Personally I dotn think I should have lost the appeal at POPLA which was a bit of a joke decision by an assessor who seems like they just wanted to refuse it regardless of what I wrote. Especially what beamerguy quoted on the decisions thread.
2nd POPLA still ongoing which I can now used the first refusal wording to my advantage Hopefuly.
The other 2 MB tickets, 1 has been canceled with appeal rather than sending the blue template. So maybe it is worth writing a well documented appeal to the PPC rather than sending the blue letter and just waiting for a POPLA code and relying on that. When they have some assessors who don't really even bother doing their job properly. So hoping I can write another to get the other canceled. Why not go full ammo on the appeal then see if you still get a POPLA code.nothing to lose.
The first ECP was windscreen and back in August I had no time and never even looked at the forum. If only I knew about the day 25/26 appeal then. Almsot certainly that would have been successful at POPLA.
The reason I ask all these questions it's to make me more knowledgeable on the matters and not disputing anything you experienced guys are telling us. It may seem like I question alot but there are many ways one could go about this. I'm jsut trying to see and point out if other possibilities have a good chance. Advice changes over time and years. So I assume Ignoring debt collectors is still the same and Noone has really challenged them.0 -
No POPLA appeals we see are ever won on ANPR not being reliable.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So tell us: what is the point of challenging a debt collector?
Who knows, if nobody has tried and just stuck to ignoring them you dont know.
Perhaps if you challenge them, they may stop sending the letters or at least slow down. Either way, they may go back to the Creditor (ECP) and then leave it to them if they want to pursue via the courts etc.
And as CouponMad always states, ECP never go to court.0
