Hi first post here.
Couldnt find the right guidance on the NEWBIES as to what to do get a Postal PCN as should i write appeal or ignore . Te blue template is for the Windscreen PCN . My PCNs was from ANPR Camera on a Euro car park.
unfortuanely the driver didnt pay and display that mornign at the meter queue was busy and tried paying via PAYBYPHONE but didnt have the right location code as was walking to work after parking. then just took the chance. its a pay and display car park. upon entering the signs are very small and weak.
the driver parked on the morning of 6th Nov 2017 at 08.23am and left end of work day at 17.05.
Now as kepper have a postal PCN with the ANPR images of entering and leaving. . Letter Date issued is 10/11/17.
Whats the advice for a postal PCN as they already got Keeper DVLA details to send the letter to the registred address.
How to to add pics on here if this would help you guys to provide me furthed advice. Should i appeal? ignore? or write a withour prejudice letter offering a small sum . upto 12hrs parking is £2.50 on their site.
Thanks
Azz

you should appeal using the blue text template if ECP are BPA operators
that appeal is for any ticket, "as is"
if there was a windscreen ticket, the blue text appeal is sent around day 26 , as the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you, so you have not digested the correct information from said sticky thread , post #1
pics are added to hosting sites like tinypic and a dead URL added on here, changing http to hxxp
for for a postal NTK, appeal within 28 days
for a windscreen ticket , appeal as KEEPER around day 26 , hoping that the ppc will fail to issue the NTK by day 56
ps:- only a moronic FOOL would ignore this charge
and no blabbing on a public forum
THE DRIVER is the one who has erred , so only use the terms THE DRIVER and THE KEEPER, nothing else , no "ME , MYSELF & I"0 -
In anticipation of your next question Azz007, just change "Should you obtain the registered keeper's data..." to "Should you have obtained the registered keeper's data..." in the appeal text.0

Not sure if the BLUE template is adequate as they have already obtained my details from the DVLA to sened me a postal Letter. also ParkingEYe vs Beavis mentioned, didnt beavis lose?
And yes they are a BPA memeber. so what grounds should i appeal on exactly?
you say 'ps:- only a moronic FOOL would ignore this charge' alot of info on this forum is to ignore private parking charges or have things changed.??0 -

Bingo!!
Have another read of post #3.also ParkingEYe vs Beavis mentioned, didnt beavis lose?
The point being made is that the signs in the beavis case were extraordinarily clear.
The signs at your location are nothing like that. And yes they are a BPA memeber. so what grounds should i appeal on exactly?0 -
KeithP you are psychic!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

things changed 5 years ago with POFA2012 so ignoring a private parking charge has not been the advice here for over 4.5 YEARS !!
ignoring debt collectors , yes , not parking charges - no
the fact you dont understand the sticky thread or what we are telling you is irrelevant , you have been given the best advice, what you do with that advice is up to you0 -
Okay Yeh il use the blue appeal letter
And change the part Keith highlighted to add
"Should you have obtained the registered keeper's data.
See how it goes and wait there response.
What are the next steps after appealing?0 -
all explained in post #3 of that same NEWBIES thread (popla)0

i feel the blue letter isnt relevant as they have not mentioned any court action . this is the first NTK.
See the letter issued0 -

If you don’t think the template, which has been drafted by the foremost expert on private parking charges in the country, meets your needs, just draft your own and let us see it please. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
