Yes IGNORE IGNORE .... However waiting around for 6 years for a court claim isnt somehting i can cope with , and the fact taht if i was to move property, yes update adresses, or what about move abroad etc,. there are many factors that you cant be on the ball for 6 years or trust these ppl to follow the rules as many whom have moved address get unknow CCJs against them. seen many post on the forum likle this.

all im saying is times have changed and like with parking ticekts they shouldn't be ignored now. isnt there anything such i can write or complain/harassment . anything to try and get them off my back, following a specific template?

Of course you are free to write whatever you like to whoever you like.

Not sure why you would expect a 'specific template' for such a thing when the guidance is clearly to ignore debt collector's letters.

    DRP AKA ZENITH AKA TIMEWWASTERS
    AKA POWERLESS AKA SCAMMERS

If these idiots want to waste their time ... let them,
    they are just a joke

As a PPC has many hoops to jump through now as
per the procedure of 1st Oct 2017, don't worry about
what they can do in the future, it might never happen

Just ensure (as you do with everyone), you keep
the PPC up to speed with any new address

THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO IDIOTIC DEBT COLLECTORS

Why are you stressing over powerless debt collectors? They’re wastes of oxygen. They have no powers. None.

i understand they are powerless and appreciate the advice but if for example a claim comes through the post 2 years down the line id probably have forgot about the incident . then having to go through the whole process digging out evidence etc and preparing for court. Not something i happily anticipate doing.

If i was to write a letter to them would i lose out on anything even if they still carried on. the only thing is they'll know im active and still pursue harder maybe. not sure what Euro car parks are like with taking people to court, if so after how long.. catch 22.

isn't this sort of acknowledging you have a debt with them by keeping them updated which then you still decide to ignore. :rotfl:

If you don’t inform them, and they subsequently issue court proceedings which you are not aware of, you’ll likely end up with a credit-trashing CCJ against your name for 6 years.

Unravelling that crap won’t be any cause for a ‘rolling on the floor laughing’ emoticon then!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    If isn’t acknowledging anything.
Just telling them they can’t use an old address.

so id imagin then you dont really need to ignore them... why not battle back and forth with allegations of harassment. they shouldnt be selling the debt to another collector without notifying the person. also as keeper if i deny they debt saying i dont owe them money , they cant ignore this and keep chasing.. so either they'd leave it or go back to the creditor (ECP) and shouldnt imply that legal action can be taken when it can't. there good grounds to wrtie back...

all im wondering if anybody has with success.
