Wow W, that's great news on the debt reductions.:j You'll get the arrears paid in no time, look how much you've achieved already.
Also as the others have said it's not cheating, it took your time & effort to get most of that debt paid off, so don't undermine yourself. Great that your relative could help you and they wouldn't want you to feel bad about it.
Glad that you're planning on sorting your bedroom out, you deserve somewhere nice that's just yours. :TSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Have a lovely day xx0 -
That is brilliant, W. You have made a lot of sacrifices and worked hard to get here whilst still giving those wee ones a loving home. I have no doubt that you will get the others paid soon.
Everyone needs a bit of "me" space so you go ahead and make that bedroom yours. You certainly deserve it.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

Thanks all, I seem to busier than when I was in work!
Don't seem to get two minutes to myself.
Today has been a NSD. Dinner was Cajun chicken, new pots and veg.
We have quite a few leftovers and ends of things to use up over the next couple of days.
Just having a cuppa and going to try and have an early one.
Hope everyone is well x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
