Hi WF. Re your phone I have access to Which? and I can let you know some of the recommendations for budget smart phones if you like? Do you have a maximum amount you can spend as that will help narrow it down. It rather depends on what your priorities are - a big display, speed of internet, long battery life or good camera (since we don't use our phones for actual talking much these days!). I bought an LG phone in 2018 (I use a cheap SIM only deal via my internet provider so not into getting a contract) and at the time a good camera was important to me but I wasn't prepared to pay top end (I like Samsung) so went with the LG based on reviews and it's been really good. Also refurbished ones from reliable suppliers are worth a look too. Also have you heard of Turn2us.org.uk? They help people locate charitable grants and I wonder if there might be something there that you could apply for to getting you and the children on line with a PC or laptop. Or just help with paying some bills so you have some spare cash for buying your phone. Enjoy your evening post ironing - one good think about lockdown is I've stopped ironing work clothes- my least favourite household chore!

Thank you
I haven't read that. It sounds good!
Today I have more ironing to do it never ends really does it and the food shop coming.
Smalls had requested pancakes and fruit for breakfast. Lunch will be soup. Dinner tonight is jacket potato with tuna and salad. Youngest wont eat tuna but I'm hoping she will try a potato if I give it with some of her trusted sausages.
While we've been in isolation we've made huge progress with the touching different things. Brushing her teeth/using a spoon etc. Her sleep has been so much better. I still need to give meds so doesn't really help my sleep but it definitely helps her if she gets a good nights sleep.
Hope you're all okay.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”8 -
Dearest WF
Just wanted to say that I think I've been channelling you since lockdown. Having been very slack on the housekeeping front for years, I now really see the point of a clean, organised house. I also find it helps me sleep if I disinfect handles, light switches etc in the kitchen just before bedtime. When I did the first major clean of the kitchen, it took 8 hours not inc the floor! Years of muck silted up...anyway, kudos to you for what you do and above all who you are. Love Humdinger x7 -
I’m pleased to hear all the positive news about littlest during this unprecedented time. The meal plans sounds delicious too. Is she fixed on a particular brand of sausages or will she eat any.January spends - £587.586

Hi WB
I'll get the book in the post next time I'm out and about.
DS and my nephew were both 'funny' with food and how things felt when they were little. I remember DS loving those animal chocolate bars that were so thin they were prone to breaking. If it didn't come out of the packet whole he wouldn't touch it, let alone eat it. Drove me mad. As long as DD is eating something that's the main thing. It must feel great when you get a break through like her brushing her teeth etc. I wonder if having the older 2 at home every day is helping her 'learn' how to do different things.
Have a lovely day. xx

Morning thank you
Youngest will only wat Richmond thin frozen sausages. Not fresh. Not thick. Not skinless and no other brand. The other two eat any so I save these tor youngest.
She doesn't rely on food for nutrition. So just any food she's willing to touch and put to her mouth is a big thing and its definitely increasing more now than it ever has before. Still not enough to sustain herself but progress.
Today's plans are very much the same as every other day.
Breakfast was cereal. Lunch is soup and probably a sandwich for them to share as I dont think theres enough soup alone for them both. Dinner this evening is cottage pie and vegetables. All prepared on the food side of things. Need to clean the floors and window still but have done most of the little jobs.

Afternoon
Nearly dinnertime. It's been a lovely day today.
I'm feeling slightly more in control of the anxiety I think. Sleep is still ridiculous though. However the smalls have been so much better since we've been isolated. Strange isn't it. I expected them to struggle but honestly most things have just been so much easier with them. There is downsides to the lack of appointments for youngest (and myself) but overall the three of them just seem so much happier!
