Thank you all.
Tea. School don't support my thoughts. But I'm hoping to get some back up later today when I get a call back from the nurse. If we aren't testing people now unless they require hospital treatment how do we have any idea of numbers in daily places? I'm hoping I've enough backing to give the school no choice but to accept. I feel really bad for DS though and his exams. It's hard isn't it to decide what is best?
I think while I'm not too concerned of me or the older two contracting it. We are becoming the biggest risk to youngest. I can do as much as I can at home but if school isn't then it feels a bit useless?
Hope that makes sense.
Thank you northern soul. I have requested another review on nappies and 'single use' equipment as it's a while since it's been reviewed and things have changed. We are waiting for that appointment but obviously it's not what they are considering urgent because of what's going on. I will speak to ccg though that isn't something I've done or considered before. Especially if they don't have them at 2pm. I've been reassured if they don't source them today we will be given enough until Monday from the hospital. I feel like it's such a waste of time for the hospital staff to need to be doing this. Although I'm grateful it's been assured I can get at least some today.

The sun is out here. So spent a couple of hours cleaning the windows and doors and things. Always feel a bit better when bleaching the door step and making the windows shine.
I still have ironing to be done but I'll do that later when it's dark.
Need to consider what to do for dinner and I need to bake some snacks x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”7 -
I can see what the experts are saying but it's not a call I'd like to make. It seems a good % of us need to catch it for their plan to work. But God forbid a child gets it and the worst happens while schools are open, there'd be uproar
You can only do what you feel is best under your circumstances. Like I said, people are worried, but most are in a better place health wise to start with. As for DS's exams that's a tough one. I can't remember when they are but I think May/June? it wouldn't surprise me by then if schools aren't closed anyway. Are you planning on completely self isolating and getting your shopping and medicines etc. delivered? xx

Hi WB
Just wondering if you got the back up from the nurse you wanted regarding DC's not going to school? DD's uni made the decision to close today, only 2 weeks from Easter anyway I think and 3rd years still have to attend because of exams but at least there won't be as many people when they do go in. A sign of things to come I think. xx

Thank you. Still no pasta or painkiller. Or liquid paracetamol. There wasn't even sugar or coffee? I wasn't actually there to buy that but I did see someone clearing the trolleys of toilet rolls. Wonder why the limit to buying isn't everywhere yet?
Anyway pharmacy delivered enough for 2 weeks. Will hopefully get more before it's last minute.
Tea I didn't. Both the nurse and consultant said they understand where I'm coming from but cannot be seen to influence my decision as it's against what guidelines they've been given. I'm taking them out anyway. I know this will split opinions and I'll be thought as ridiculous etc. But I've considered both sides and I feel this is best for us.

I've just had an e-mail from Mr T stating that certain items will be limited from now on which I think is a fair way of doing things. This is for on line orders, I don't know if they're following it up in store or not.
Glad the prescription came through, one less thing to worry about for a whileThe school thing is difficult. At the end of the day you obviously feel your circumstances dictate you having to make the decision yourself and I don't think anybody will judge you for that. xx

If I was in your position I'd be doing the same as you and keeping the eldest 2 off school too. I think anyone with a child as vulnerable as littlest would do the same.
I'm not sure how to PM on this new site... can anyone direct me? ThanksI Believe.....

I’ve had a similar email from Mr M as Tea. Good they are limiting things then we all get a fair chance. I know things are tough for you at the moment WF but things will get better eventually just hang on to that thought xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I've had the email from Mr T too. I'm hoping Sainsbury's do similar. I actually went on and I think I'm going to have to book a slot and checkout very soon there isn't even a slot until the 20th!
Chrystal I've sent you a PM so hopefully you can find where messages are and how to create a new one. I only use a phone to get on but if you click the person's username you should still see send a message. Or click your own profile in the top corner and it's a message box.
