Money in day has been and gone and most has gone out again.
Outgoing
Rent £480.55 (Paid)
Council Tax £85.40 (Paid)
Water £49.40 (Paid)
Gas/Electric £140 (Paid)
Phone Credit £10 (Paid)
Bus Pass £54 (Paid)
Tv License £12.56 (Paid)
School snack £15
School 'other' £25
Travel £25
Food/everything else £100
The above is empty. It was spent on the travel/train fares/phone repair/smalls dinner at hospital.
Debt for rent arrears hasn't received a payment.
The budget just hasn't worked this month. The bills are paid but I still need to do the grocery shopping and the pots have been emptied and spent elsewhere. DS needs trainers/ walking shoes and wellies for his residential and I will get some t-shirts/shorts from pr!mark when I can. Everything is ready for going back to school.
30 days until money in day again when things should be back to normal and I won't have travel for all the smalls etc. Fingers crossed the budget works next month.
All the bills are paid until the 25th when I receive money again. Bank balance will cover the food/everything else budget. Rest of the uniform will come from the budget on the 25th August.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
On the back of the previous post.
The rest of the weekend didn't involve any spending (good job!)
The weather's been lovely so we've spent the time outside and soaking up some warmth and fresh air.
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend

It did beanie so he doesn't need trousers/jumper/jacket (the most expensive clothing items) I looked in SA for t-shirts but they didn't have any big enough and most of what was there where more expensive than the ones I've been told about in pr!mark. He just needs a couple of t-shirts and footwear. Oh and a pair of knee length shorts.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

Boys t-shirts second hand are fairly rare... they don't seem to survive the experience
I'm about to hit the conference circuit for the year, so will keep an eye out for t-shirts and backpacks if that would be helpful. There are always loads of them. Anything unwanted can be donated/used for messy stuff at home/as PJs.0 -
Hi WB
Hope you and the smalls have been enjoying the weather over the past couple of days.
Have you still got some uniform to buy or are you all organised? I've been washing DS's shirts with every white wash so they don't feel 'hard' :rotfl:
Can't believe this time next week and we'll be getting ready for school again. The holidays seem to have gone really quickly considering we've not really done anything.
Did you get your shopping delivered yet? I have mine booked in for tomorrow with a £1 delivery charge and a 10p off fuel voucher. It's the small things that bring me pleasure
Hope you manage to find some t-shirts and shorts for DS. It won't be long before he's off to his residential and then not long until your family holiday :T Exciting. xx0 -
Thank you so much greenbee.
Thank you tea. All the school stuff is doneMost of the things for residential are sorted too. It's really not that long and he will be there! Scary.
I still haven't done any shoppingwe really are running out of everything now and they had porridge for breakfast despite the lovely weather as I'm so rubbish not getting the shop done
The weather's been lovely hasn't it? We've been making the most of it and spent it outside. Cleaning/playing etc. Been to the park once it's gone cooler.
Another NSD. Will need to at least get milk and bread in the morning though.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0
