Just a thought - Would it be worth phoning appointment folk at hospital and telling them when you’re away so they don’t send appointment whilst away with a days notice - happened to me when ds was younger.

I wouldn't worry about porridge for breakfast, I had a bowl of frosties for tea! :rotfl: The plus side is you've managed a few extra days without shopping which I'm sure will help in the long run.

Great that you've got all the uniform sorted out and also DS's things. xx

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I eat porridge for breakfast all year round - and soup for lunch too (it's easy and cheap to make plus it fills me up). People at work say to me - soup in this weather!

My kids eat porridge all year round too - it's what they ask for, they love it.

    Morning.

Thank you for stopping in and lucky lady thank you too.

We had a lovely day out Friday. But ended up in a&e with youngest Friday night and have been stuck here all weekend. Hoping to be home today. It's cost a fortune for the 4 of us to be here so unprepared and not expected. Youngest is much better today and we are on a new drug trial (that's unlicensed and has some scary negatives with it. But it's working) I think she's actually the best she's been in a long time this morning.

So very spendy weekend on food and drink. Will need a taxi home and then do the grocery shopping etc before school tomorrow.

Always something. If I'm quiet I haven't disappeared just settling back into a total new routine.

Morning WB :) Sorry to hear about DD but glad the new drugs seem to be working.

Fingers crossed you do manage to get home today so you can all enjoy the last couple of days holiday and get everything organised for back to school.

Hope the extra costs haven't thrown your budget out too much. xx
