Thrilled to hear about the bank charges being scrapped, Wannabe: my estimation of your bank has just gone through the roof and I will consider becoming a customer of their on the basis of how well they have treated you! :T (Well, after I've finished with the one I transferred to literally a few days ago! :rotfl:)
The weather isn't great here, either, so you have my sympathies. It's hard to occupy small people when their avenues for energy expenditure are limited, although I agree with Hairy about how kids don't care about the rain anywhere near as much as we do! (I understand you might need to keep potential colds to a minimum cos of Littlest Small, though).
I'm glad to hear that you have got your DD account sorted now. I hope this will becomes a source of comfort for you now that it's sorted.
You're doing great - well done! :T
How long have you got left on the court costs now? I'll cheer harder for you when they have gone that I will when I have paid my own debts off! :rotfl:Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Morning
Thank you for all your replies I do appreciate it
I'm still tired (surprise surprise)
I'll be back later with a better post as my phone needs charging but we are all okay and in Mae news haven't spent anything (easy when you have nothing to spend :rotfl:)“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Afternoon
The weather is much nicer today so we got out and about. Fresh air did us all some good. Hoping it means there is a possibility of sleep tonight. I'm desperate.
I really don't have much to update. I've not a penny so haven't spent anything and to be honest anything I feel I want to say will just look like I'm moaningAs you can probably tell I'm fed up and just sick of having nothing
and yes I know there's worse off. I know it's been worse for us. I'm just fed up. I want to get out and enjoy what we can while youngest is up to it. Meh.
Anyway hope you've all had a happy Monday

But in other news I came back to post a positive all my bills have gone out and even though it's just enough to the penny nothing has bounced back or gone unpaid. Just the energy direct debit of £140 on the 14th to save up for now and the one off payment of £30 Friday and I'm back on track. That's a whole load better than this time last month.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0

Hi WB
Why aren't you sleeping, are you awake worrying or is DD2's sleep pattern still all over the place with the steroids?
Good to hear things are getting back on track but this isn't another £140 you're saving on top of what you mentioned you were also saving last month is it? Or did that get put on hold?
It's you diary so you post what you want. It might make you feel a bit better saying what you really feel about things rather than keeping it bottled upxx

A bit of both tea. She didn't settle until near 3am again and even then she was moaning she was hungry right until she closed her eyes. There's just no filling her.
The £140 is this months direct debit. But £40 is saved to it already and by the time the next one comes around the weekly amount will have been put away enough weeks to pay it without it being any extra one week if that makes sense. So going forward from Friday the 14th all the money going in will stay in the bill account and the £50 for everything else will go into the 'spends' account. Then the bill account has enough in on the dates the direct debits go out. They all go out different like rents weekly on a Monday. Council tax weekly on a Friday. Gas/elec on the 14th etc. It's just took this long to get everything back up to date as previously things where due at the beginning of the week and I was paying at the end of the week. So once the direct debit went through it was twice as much to 'catch up'

Just realised that still doesn't make sense.
What I mean is once everything is paid on the 14th of this month. By the time the next is due on the 14th July it will have saved up enough weekly not to be short. If that makes sense. I still don't think it doessorry

It does make sense. I think I've just panicked on your behalf at seeing a big number like £140, but of course now it's monthly it's not much more than you putting £15 on gas and electric weekly.
The steroids sound a nightmare for her and youIs she still on them or does it take a while for the hunger etc. to wear off even when the course has finished.
Are you still planning to go to soft play at some point this week? xx0
