The gas man is coming today before 8pm - although they did ask if I could manage until next Thursday first!

 That's a bit of an ask!

Hope all goes well with phoning the bank. Good to know there's a cap but I'd far rather you didn't have to pay anything.

Another Nationwide customer here who has always found them to be very helpful.
They did once refund me charges for the reasons mentioned above, I was trying to get into a monthly DD routine and things got a bit messy and confusing and a few were missed / bounced.
Definitely worth a try and I sincerely hope you get someone nice like I did who can wipe them off for you.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

    Evening

Today feels like it's been the longest day in history!

Got lots sorted on my to do list though. Boiler is repaired if needed a new fan. Spoke to the bank who said to call back once my statement is produced and they will see what they can do.

Have double and triple checked the bill account and it definitely has enough to cover what's going out. So next week will see the grocery budget back which is £50 (I call it grocery but really it's an everything budget that isn't on direct debit :rotfl:) I have a bill to pay out of it next Friday but it's not a regular thing just a one off. Then going forward it should all work out. I really want to try and get a small buffer in the bill account so I don't risk charges etc.

We've had pasta for dinner and everyone's is in bed. Although youngest slept sat on my knee the majority of last night so no doubt she will end up with me again tonight.

    Have a lovely weekend

    Thank you :)

    Morning.

No plans again just cleaning. I feel like that's all we've done this half term I feel quite guilty :o They have another week off and we have no plans either. Smallest really wants to go to soft play so hoping I can fit that in next Friday.

I'm exhausted so walking for miles to the park just doesn't appeal and it keeps switching from dry to raining and they don't have proper coats.

Hope you all have a happy Saturday :)

Hi WB :) Good to read that things will be back to normal next week. Our parks are quite a distance away as well which is pain when it's something free to do. Did you look at anything that was on at the library or the SA?

Hope you manage to get some decent nights sleep. Nothing worse than broken sleep, it can make you feel really ill. xx

    Evening. Thank you :)

Have got the bank charges cancelled as a good will gesture. Thank you

Have had such a lazy day. I didn't do anything more than the basics. The smalls have seemed to want attention every 3 seconds and have squabbled over everything! At one point because they where looking at each other? Really! They are all in bed and sleeping now - like butter wouldn't melt

Tea I feel awful! I don't think not getting out the house helps but I just don't have the get up and go to get everyone ready then get wet when the random rain arrives! We do have a park local it's not great and always full of undesirable teens :(

There's nothing on at SA or the library this coming week for school aged smalls as all the other schools are back in school :( I'm hoping that means soft play will be quieter though if we get there. Smalls have been asking to go for a coffee at the SA though 'the posh caf! apparently' :rotfl:

    Yay, that's brilliant!

I hope you can get some shut-eye while they are all asleep. You must be desperate for a night of sleep.
