Excellent news about the charges being cancelled. I'm really laughing about the DC's looking at each other because we used to say that as well when we were kids. "Muuuuum, he's looking at me, tell him" :rotfl: Then it would move on to us telling another one they were adopted or that Mum had brought the wrong baby home from hospital and we couldn't find our real brother or sister so she'd just kept him/her but she didn't really love them - looking back we were really awful at times
I know what you mean about getting out, it seems more trouble than it's worth at times, but even a stroll to the shops can break up the day. I really hope you get to the soft play centre especially as you said they all had a great time there and it's something they can all do. xx0 -
Good news about the bank charges being sorted.
Do you have any large boxes? If indoor play is what is needed, it's amazing what a cardboard box can become. Mine have used them as cars, pirate ships, castles...their imagination is the limit!
I remember my grandmother cutting out paper strips for my brother and I to make roads for our toy cars. That kept us amused for quite some time.
How lovely that you have another week off, enjoy.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Great that the charges have been cancelled - that will help :j
Its difficult if you can't/don't have the energy or the weather to get out. Is there a library near you for the smalls to visit and choose books etc? I know you've mentioned crafting before, is that something they can do though I know thats indoors?
Hopefully if you can get some sleep you might feel a bit like a wee outing one day next week?0 -

Great news about the bank charges and now everything should be so much easier with payments.
Do the dc's have friends you could invite over if you are not too exhausted? I do this a couple of times a week and then the kids get invited out in return which gives them a break from each other!

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Great news about the bank charges refund Wannabe :T I'm not surprised as Nationwide are on of the nicer banks
.
I hope you find a cheap way to entertain the DC that doesn't exhaust you. What about someone's suggestion of the library?
Children don't seem to mind getting wet judging by the ones in the playground and my DC would often refuse to have the rain cover over them on their plush chair even when it was pouring :rotfl:.
I hope you feel less tired soon. I remember mine squabbling constantly and it drove me potty . I'm so glad they don't do it any more. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hi WB
Hope you got a good nights rest and are feeling a bit better today. Have you managed to get out at all? Weather is very hit and miss here today so we've opted for a day inside. xx
