Had to get me and youngest a bus pass, topped up my phone and got the bus pass on the app as it saves £1.50 between the two of us

Morning WB
Do you feel things are starting to look a bit better now you're back up to date with everything? I think the bus passes are definitely money well spent with all the walking you seem to do especially if DD is with you. Much easier for you both to hop on a bus.
Are you still having the burns dressed every day or have you been down graded.
Looks like it's about to pour down here so I'm on standby for running out and bringing the washing inHave a good day. xx

I hope so Tea, it's so easy to fall behind with it being so tight
Any minor slip up means I'm behind again
It's supposed to be everyday although I haven't made it yesterday and I won't today as we've just spent 2 hours in the GP for something simple that was actually dealt with in 5 minutes once we where seen. So now I'm running late, need to pop in to town etc now.
It's trying to rain here too!

Would someone at your GP be able to do the dressings for you, Wannabe? Or a community nurse?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

You'd think so Cherry but apparently not. It's okay though I will go tomorrow morning.
Food shop done £28 spent£3.72 left in the bank and it's another week over. I feel like I'm just wishing the weeks away until we can 'do things'
No weekend plans, especially if this rain stays we can't even walk to the park.
A 'close' relative is getting married Sunday and has literally just invited us! I haven't replied yet but we obviously won't be going. Maybe we are 'reserves' to fill spaces :rotfl:
Such a moany post but I'm struggling
Hope you all have a lovely weekend

Hi W, sorry to hear about your burn, hope it's feeling a bit better now.
Bet you're sick of the sight of medical facilities!
That's a strange one about the wedding! Who invites people to their wedding with 2 days notice? If you're "reserves" then that's a bit rude to say the least.
Sorry to hear you're struggling & also that you're feeling bad at having to say no to the kids to days out etc. It really is super expensive to do some of these things though - I can't believe the prices softplay etc charge for children.
Btw your post wasn't moany, you just have to look at my diary to see what actual moaning is. :rotfl::oSuccess is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
I hope the weather clears up long enough for you all to get out tomorrow, Wannabe. It makes quite a difference. Glad you have some shopping in now and a little in the bank... maybe there will be some more surveys to do over the weekend?
Very odd about the wedding but there's nowt as queer as folks.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
