You're right Tea it isn't cheaper buying us all a weekly bus pass is over £40 :( it's £17 now for mine and £8.50 each for the smalls.

    Good morning.

No real plans today just the same as yesterday. Appointment and cleaning around school runs. My appointment is later today as that's all they had. So I hope I make it back in time for school run! Hope the weather stays dry too :o

Hope you all have a lovely day

Morning WB :) Blimey, that's a hefty amount for public transport if you all need a pass. I was assuming the eldest 2 would be in school so they wouldn't need one, but even so £25 for you and littlest is still a lot to find. Hope your appointment runs to time, maybe your neighbour could be on standby just in case.

I have 2 appointments today. One this morning with the nurse and one this afternoon at the opticians with DS. Both are necessary but I'd rather be sat here with a brew doing some cross stitch :D

    Have a lovely day. xx

  • I hope your appointment went welll today Wannabe. Is the burn healing well?

How do the DC feel about going back to school? Mine never wanted to go as they enjoyed the holidays so much but it did mean quieter daytimes for me :).

Thank you HH it's disgusting :o No signs of infection though!

Appointment done and made it to school (just :o)

HH smalls didn't want to go back and DD had tears last night as some things have changed and she doesn't like it :( She will get use to it though. I'm quite lucky that they do enjoy school the majority of the time and have a good circle of friends.

    I miss them though :o

Well the thunder storm has arrived.

Not best pleased :o I'm waiting for the electricity company calling back with a code to go and get some emergency credit as I've run out and the nearest store to collect it is 4.6 miles away! I rang them at 8am and rang back at 2pm and still awaiting the decision. Stress!

Smalls hate the thunder and have been hiding under the table

Can't wait till I can get in bed. Youngest's breathing has had us up the last two nights so I'm hoping tonight we can all get some sleep!

  • Are you not classed as an emergency case with the electric for having smalls and extra needs?? I think it’s disgusting they’ve left you all day

So have you been sat there all day with no electricity? When you've got the code do you have to still go out and buy it? Is there any way of doing it on-line through a bank account? xx
  • Oh dear I hope you manage to get your electricity sorted. Awful that it takes so long :(.
