I will drop you a text Tea about the wedding - I think I understood why we wasn't on the first guest list (I'd have still have to have said no :rotfl:)
Perhaps not as you will have paid off the debt and will have rehabilitated your overall credit score a lot by paying off so much of your other debts. Might it be worth just asking your current provider? Also, it might not be a bad idea to check your credit rating. Have you joined MSE Credit Club? It's free and would give you an idea of where you are up to.

I might try PB - I'm worried about getting behind again I think :o

My credit reports are shocking. I can't even get the worst of credit cards after I closed the 49.9% one :o Probably a good thing.

Don't buy a suitcase. I've got 3 different sized ones all with wheels so easy to pull. All in really good condition and clean. Same goes for DS's case/bag whatever he wants to take on his residential. I've got a back pack, small case and a holdall thing on wheels. DS has used all 3 for his trips away depending on where he's been going.

If I ever have a party (it definitely won't be a wedding though) you are all on my list as guests of honour :D xx

    Thank you Tea :D

Well everyone's in the bath. I think it will be an early settling down with blankets and cuppas - hot chocolate for the older smalls none for the youngest :rotfl:

Once they're in bed I will have a search for today's qualifying and an early night.

Thank you for all your replies, I really do appreciate it

And on an even more positive note, I'm sure you'll have noticed I'm feeling a bit less anxious and not like I'm drowning.

So I have started making the countdowns for school holidays and our holiday to put up on the wall. 175 days to our holiday and the smalls think 175 squares on a chart is amazing!

I also forgot to update about DD and her school things after she was told she needed some items to help. She has only had the items this week as they where ordered over Easter. Massive improvement! No headache and her teacher has already noticed a difference in her confidence with reading etc. I find it crazy something so simple has made such a difference to her.

I also received their interim reports (yes I am only just opening my mail :o) and they are brilliant even though it is my job to say that anyway but I couldn't be more proud. Every is as expected or over achieving so considering the struggles at least it hasn't hindered them. The comments on their behaviour and manners etc makes me glow! Even if at times they aren't like that at home it shows they keep it up when not with me :D

    Well done DD! :T

    Haha! Isn't that all children?!

Well done, smalls. Sounds like they will deserve their holiday when it comes around.:T :T :T

I always think count downs to holidays are a big part of the fun. :)

Great to read that DD is finding the learning aids helpful. If she's got a good report while she's been struggling just think what the next one will be like. I think good manners and behaviour are just as important as academic abilities so your DC's have every base covered :D

Really nice to read you're feeling less anxious, you deserve to feel happier about everything. xx

I'm deeply invested in seeing where I can cut back to leave more room weekly so I don't keep slipping backwards. I think the constant steps back are making my anxiety and moods worse. With the help of someone else I've discovered

E D F are still currently the cheapest on cheapest on comparison sites. I am on the Prepay fix until September 20 - they estimate my usage at £39 a week between both (which is around what I use as I use the emergency credit every week) However someone is calling me Monday to discuss swapping from the prepayment to a monthly DD.

My water isn't metered, I still agree being a meter would be more expensive - we use a lot :o However there is a support tarriff which if I could get would make it nearly £2 a week less.

TV license - I think its wrong. I read online that it would be the £5.60 for the first 12 months then it should be £5.60 a fortnight not weekly - if this is correct I think I'm about 5 months in front of where I should be. I will call them Monday morning.

I don't think there's anything else I can cut back on. I have tried with even less everything else budget than the £32 but it just means its too tight :o

ETA - Phone credit - is actually £10 a month :o but I keep 'borrowing' the £2.50 I set aside meaning I need to keep catching up. I upped to the £10 a month when I got rid of V1rgin as my phone is used for all we watch/listen/use the internet for etc. I realise a sim only contract could be slightly cheaper but not being on a contract means if I need to use that £2.50/£5 for food/taxi etc I can and it just means no credit for a month, not a bill I have to catch up on.

Such lovely things happening! Well done to the children for their great reports, they are a credit to you. And I'm so pleased things are easier for DD with her school work. You sound as though you are making progress on all fronts.
I don't know what sort of outdoor space you have, but a project you could try with the children (inspired by the broad bean mentioned elsewhere) is to save a few seeds and try to grow things. It's educational and it might lead to a few freebie vegetables/salad. If you have enough space you could even grow potatoes - they are very easy from ones that begin to sprout in the bag.

P.S. If you don't have any sprouting potatoes, drop me a line - I do! :D

Oh I do have a garden Cherry, I have always failed at growing things but maybe the smalls will be better than I am. I will have a look at what we can do. They'd enjoy that

    Thank you
