Morning WB
Late nights are fun, especially when the DC's don't have to get up for school
Soft play, sweets and chocolate sounds the perfect way to spend Easter money, hope they have a lovely time.
All this talk of cleaning has inspired me to get on with some of my own, but I have to admit I'm only half way through what I planned to do and I'm feeling pretty bored already :rotfl: But, me and DD have planned to watch Bohemian Rhapsody this afternoon while hubby is out, so that'll be my treat for working hard.
Have a great day. xx0 -
I'm glad DD seems to be getting on well with the meds.
I'm just getting through a bad period of anxiety and starting to feel better now. I think when you are anxious all the time you 'forget' that you don't need to feel that way. Now it's still new enough for me to note that I don't feel anxious about something, and it feels good! Please do go back to the docs and speak to them. You've got plenty on your plate, and just not having that anxiety in the background would make such a difference. I've been through 3 different meds to get to this stage, there's no shame in saying something isn't working for you.

Hope you and the smalls have had a lovely weekend and things are back to normal now in your area. Especially hope DS is OK and not too worried as I know he was unsettled the other night. xx

Morning
Another new week.
Thank you all for stopping in x
Smalls are all still in bed so I've managed to get my cleaning done, had my shower and things and now having a cuppa before I get them up and make their breakfast.
We have no real plans today. I have a few phone calls to make and I really need to sort this holiday issue out before I lose what's paid. The outstanding balance is £171 - I have got round the family fund paying for a prebooked holiday as I explained I booked while there last time so I could get the same place to stay as it was so suitable and also so I could make sure we had somewhere we could have the supplies needed delivered etc. I don't think it will be possible still but I can't not try and figure it out.
Anyway back to now. We have everything we need and we are healthy - although youngest choked yesterday and scared us all! She likes to keep us on our toes. DD was running round like a headless chicken!
It's really cold so I think it will be a home day today
Have a lovely Monday everyone
Thank you again for all your replies and help

Forgot to add.
We have food - and a meal plan is done.
DD needed some things to do with the recent diagnosis the cheapest I could find was direct from the irlen screening centre that's local and was just under £20. Fingers crossed they help!
I need to get youngest some new shoes as she's currently sporting the 'holey' look. I'm sure the splints means she goes through shoes quicker. Although her 'branded' trainers last time seemed to last far longer than the ones from the supermarket this time. Older DD needs a coat as it's been taken at school and it's nearly 3 weeks now and hasn't turned up. I really wanted to hold off until it's warm enough for a thin (cheap) jacket rather than spending on a coat. But needs must I guess.
As you can see I still have 5 million things going round in my headBut I do feel a lot more in control of some aspects

Okay holiday choices are swap to May school holiday and £91 to pay (5 day stay) or Stick with October school holiday and £171 to pay (7 day stay) For now I've left it at October, but will probably cancel and try and sort something else! But for now I've left it as it is. May is cheaper but too soon to save for travel etc I think.
Anyway I have meal planned - We cooked a chicken yesterday and had a roast dinner, have turned some into chicken pie and chicken casserole and frozen in portions for going forward. Have saved some bits out to make chicken pasta today.
We have some biscuits and things in but youngest wants to bake some of 'her' oat biscuits so we will probably do that today, then she has some to take with us to the appointment tomorrow.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0
