I'm really pleased you've got the pushchair and that you've ordered the raincover and medical item. If it helps you to get out more then that is really fantastic, I hope they arrive soon
.
I'm really glad that you were able to chat to someone about your worries and to realise that your worries are perfectly normal. It does help to put things in perspective to talk to somebody. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Another day over
Been a long one! Who'd think talking could be so exhausting.
Smalls are all bathed and in bed. Everything ready for morning. I need to do the floors and some ironing. Then I have a book to read to try and distract myself.
Hope you've all had a good day and thank you again for all stopping in x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Books are good for a bit of escapism.
A lovely memory of mine from when I was young is that every Friday at my friend's house we used to have a mini party for a couple of hours, just a few of us, where we would all dance to music/play party games and her mum used to make a few nibbles for us. It was the highlight of our week. I bet the smalls would enjoy something like this and the cost would be minimal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thank you SA.
I think the last few weeks have just been the breaking point for a few things. It's been a lot of change. I think we've had so long fighting for answers and now they aren't what I wanted to hear it's hard. And I know no amount of trying to change things will change the answers etc I just want to try my best and do what I can.
I know I'm really struggling with 'things' and I'm trying to make sure I can 'save myself' enough to carry on and slap a brave face on. Theres no other choiceI'll get there. And my posts will stop being so rubbish

Oh, Wannabe. You have mastered the art of talking around a subject and leaving us to fill in the blanks, and I'm not sure if that's because you don't want it said out loud? So I won't, but, it's very natural to be feeling grief at the moment. You're grieving for a future that you should get - one with healthy, happy children living normal happy lives - and it's no wonder that you feel low at the moment. And of course the debt feels so much more than it is in the circumstances.
Please do reach out to people for support. I know you don't have a lot of close friends, but even a support group for other parents going through similar health struggles with a child would help, I think. And stay with us, we do care.MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028

Hope you managed to relax, glad the neighbour is helping with the school runs and you are amazing for having everything on track for the morning - a lot of people won't have achieved that - you are so organised and doing fab.
My best memories are playing outside and singing songs/playing games with my family. Wouldn't say that we were rich by any means, but had lots of holidays, holiday homes here and there etc and its the simple times I actually remember most fondly. There's a lesson for me to as I work so hard to save up for travel -need to make sure I'm not missing out on the simple good times.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
