    Thank you

Out of appointment one waiting for the next.

Huggle honest no need to read back it's all pretty much the same as recent posts - skint, low moods and moaning :o Thank you for stopping in. I don't really talk to anyone about 'stuff' I don't like to burden anyone and I definitely don't like asking for help etc. I do now have a health professional involved to discuss things with and there is going to be some support there for helping with youngest when needed - like this morning for my appointment etc.

We do make the most of the free museum etc. However more recently travel is the issue - youngest can not walk that far and she's just too big to carry longer distances along with everything else she needs. We do now have a pushchair and on Friday I am going to order a rain cover etc and things to carry all the 'stuff' and hopefully this will make everything a bit easier even the school run!

Thank you HH - I think I'm just worried about fitting enough in to be remembered that's good. Not all medical stuff, appointments, illness, the things she can't do (which the list is just going to get bigger) etc. It has made me realise how much we have taken for granted the every day stuff that is already so much more difficult to do now than even just a few months ago.

    Thank you Jwil

And thank you BB50 we cross posted sorry :o

So after this mornings appointment it has made some thing I want/need to do clearer. It's also made me realise I am over thinking some of the things I'm worried about :o although normal in the situation. (First time they've referred to something I've said as normal ;)

I think having stuff down and knowing what I want to do will make it slightly easier to remind myself of where we are at.

I need to get debt free. I need to buy the things that will make DD's time easier and not feel guilty about it. I need to just take each day as it comes. Not every day will or can be good and I can't change that. I can do it on my own and I don't need to lean on those I don't want too ;) (I'll believe all this one day :o Just not today :o) But anyway I've got the thought's out there. Told someone that can make sure things don't go any further down the spiral I was going down.

Thank you again for all your replies

    xx

  • I think you are doing amazingly well, and you sound a lot more together than you give yourself credit for.

Totally agree with what has been said re the kids being able to have the best memories made at home, but if it really bothers you that you don’t get out much, could you perhaps enter competitions for days out etc like I do? It’s not guaranteed, but it’s very welcome when a win happens. Xx

You sound a lot more positive now.

I know you don't like asking for help but please take it when you're due it or when it's offered. And you are not being a burden to anyone or moaning. But if you feel like a moan or letting of steam feel free. It often helps.

How did the wee one get on with the nurse looking after her whilst you were at your appointments?

You are such a brave lady, and whilst you don't believe it yourself, you are also incredibly strong. And I know I'm only adding to the chorus but in my 50s now, the memories my brothers and I have of our childhood are all the 'together' times, doing stuff like lego, board games and watching tv. My kids are older than yours and when they get together we still play games together - sometimes video games, sometimes board games, watch the films they love repeatedly (DS1 is particularly fond of Monsters Inc) and just hang out. Virtual hugs.

Thank you Lucky. Its good here in that there's lots of free stuff to do. Museums etc. Especially in the real town centre. It's just more recently youngest can't make it that far walking and even just using the bus means travel costs of nearly £10. Which is brilliant for a full day out but is half our weekly food budget nearly :o obviously once the debt has gone we will definitely be doing it more. We are so lucky to have so much to do that's free and fun. We can take pack lunches etc so it's just travel. I will look at the competitions though good idea thank you.

Youngest slept most of the morning :o so she's been fine with me leaving her.

But this afternoon I'm having a cuppa while me and youngest read then I need to do dinner. The weather is awful

You're sounding a bit brighter today WB :) Good to hear your appointments are helping you to put things into perspective a bit more.

Nice that you've got lots of fun and free things to do in you area. The pushchair sounds like it will make a big difference to you all being able to get out and about. This weather is rubbish which probably isn't helping, it can make anybody feel stuck indoors and hemmed in. Hopefully, it's on it's way out soon and you'll be able to get out for a change of scenery. xx

And on that note I do realise it isn't for here so back to what here is for.

    Thank you

I don't feel brighter at all :o but I'll be fine.

Tea we will get more once the medical item is here and the raincover etc for the pushchair. I'm sure that will make me feel much better be able to get some fresh air etc.

Smalls are eating dinner but I really do need to shop this week :o
