Fab news about the bed! And I love your description of parents' evening - telling the kids how wonderful they all are. I'm sure this has been mentioned a before (!), but you are the loveliest Mum.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thank you
They do make me so proud :A
Morning (just)
We had a rough night! and I give in to temptation this morning and got a paper cup coffee - a strong one. It was needed.
We have our emergency appointment on Friday at 3.15. Hoping to ask someone to get the older two so they don't miss school. They have plans for DD's birthday and I'll feel awful if she has to miss it
I've been filling walls and sanding back, painting ceilings this morning while youngest finally got some sleep! I don't think it will be done for weekend thoughThere isn't enough hours in the day
I'm having a quick 10 minutes to myself before getting some more done before it's school run time again!

Hello W
I haven't forgotten you. Still trying to get back to normality. Have you ordered a double bed. I've got so used to a double I can't sleep in a single even if I'm in it myself.
Hope the wee one's appointment goes well. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hi WB, hope you managed to get done what you wanted to while DD had a sleep. Just do what you can with the decorating, you'll get there in the end
School days always seem short to me. DS finishes at 2.40pm! No idea how we used to fit in walking home for lunch and back again when I was little. We didn't just live on the corner either. We even had an afternoon break. Must have been there til midnight to fit it all in :rotfl:0 -
Thank you TF I have ordered a double bed
Thank you Tea, I got some things done, not enough though.
Been and paid for the bed, have changed the delivery to Tuesday though. As I don't want to miss it Friday with the extra appointment. Worried about the appointmentand I can't change it anyway.
Plus it gives me time to get it painted, once the beds in there painting it will be impossible.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything that needs doingand DD's birthday and the appointments and latest illness worries with youngest and what the latest issues mean going forward etc.
I don't want to moan though“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
No need to be overwhelmed WB.
Everything does not need to be done at once.
