Hope parent's evening went well. Are you kept to a strict time or is it fairly flexible if you have things you want to discuss? One of DS's teachers set an alarm clock giving every parent 5 minutes and while I can understand the theory behind it I hardly heard a word he said because the time ticking away in front of me really stressed me out. :rotfl:

Glad to hear you're ordering a bed. Did you make it to the shop in time or is it a job for tomorrow. xx

I realise how rubbish that reply was but I was sat drinking my cuppa when DD1 decided to give me a letter that had changed my parent's evening time from 4pm to 3.30! for her teacher :o :rotfl: Mad dash then the teacher was running behind anyway!

I've just got home  I feel really bad saying it's quite boring but they just always say - brilliant behaviour - good manners, always out to please etc! :o I don't tell the smalls I think it's boring :o :rotfl: I obviously told them how amazing they are ;):p

I called and the bed should be delivered on Friday evening, will call in tomorrow and pay/confirm :D Now I really do need to get on with the painting and things tonight! But not before I've had a cuppa because I think every one I've made I've had cold today!

Parent's evenings are a little tedious at times aren't they but I suppose it's better to sit there knowing they're going to say good things than sitting there wondering what DC's have been up to again :o Just wait until High School. You have to queue up for each subject  After the first year of doing that I got DD/DS to choose their favourite subjects and just went to those ;)

Ooh you managed to order the bed. Fantastic. Just 3 more sleeps until it comes. I now have this lovely image of all the DC's coming in for a snuggle with you on Saturday morning. :T

    Enjoy your hot cuppa. xx

Glad parents evening went well. I also had DD's this evening and it was much the same as we hear every year too. Very glad it's always good things though :)

So pleased you have a bed coming :D

  • Great news about your bed coming on Friday, how exciting :j.

I know what you mean about parents evening being a bit boring. As TF2 said, it's worse at secondary school and takes all evening . Half the time I wasn't sure they even remembered who my child was .

I hope little DD continues to be okay.
